If I take off my glasses it reminds me of The Show.

I consider myself to be into racing games. I've played Forza Motorsports games, Horizon games, NFS. This game comes off as an arcade style racer. It shows crashes. Silly vehicles. Looking from the outside I considered this to be a fun game sort of like Burnout. Unfortunately I thought wrong. This is a sim racing game. Every little thing you do can impact the race. I have to play this game on amateur. Even at this difficulty some races will force you to restart 20+ times in the campaign. You could be 5 laps into a race and suddenly a lap car comes and corner bombs you out of 1st place. The AI is very aggressive. To the point they will ruin their race just to run you off the road. Fun times. On top of that when your racing any little thing you do while driving can spell disaster. You can just turn a tad to much and the car will start losing control so badly you can't recover causing a crash. Listen I get it has figure 8 racing and demo derby events but when it's classified as a banger race it should be mostly racing. Earning in game currency is extremely slow. You buy a car. Add upgrades. Then your broke. Won't be able to buy another car for 12+ races or more. You can't even sell cars back. They have races where they require a certain vehicle. You buy it, realize it's terrible and your stuck with it. Then there is online. Seems like only 1 class of cars is favored in the online servers. Almost all the servers say no crashing just racing. That's cool. Until you get corner bombed by someone then return the favor. Only to be banned from the server after the race. I would steer clear of this game unless your very much into racing games and don't mind the occasional rage quit.

Look past the graphics this is a solid game

I have a new understanding about Soda. On my way to the store to grab some after I post.

This game didn't make me want to give up meat. Only complaint I have is I can't get the music to 200%. Would buy again for 50 cents.

This game will destroy you. It will make you feel like your going nowhere. Do you like excessive grinding to have someone stealth kill you from an underground bunker? Me too. Do you like waiting 15 minutes to get into a lobby only to be kicked out 5 minutes later? I'm with you. Modding is fun right? Wait nevermind. Even with all this nonsense I still think people should play GTA Online. It was some really good times but also some of the worst times. If you can get past all of the bad things that happen in online lobbies you will enjoy the game immensely. One tip I would give is look up a beginner guide of how GTAO works. It really stinks when you waste large chunks of cash early game. If you easily get tilted I would avoid online play. If your could careless about the online portion of the game and just want the single player experience I would also recommend.

I used to say this game looked like it was silly and for children. Then one day a friend gifted me the game. I didn't even open it for about 2 weeks. Then I finally was so bored I decided to try the game for myself. Over 100hrs later I have to say the game is pretty good. It isn't a game where you have to sit and put 100% of your attention on. You can just casually play the game while watching TV. Difficulty ranges from very easy to extremely difficult. I would say give it a try especially if you can grab it on sale.
