As someone who has trouble getting into fighting games due to the need for quick and precise inputs, this game is perfect for unleashing your true potential for the genre by giving you all the tools you need to understand how this game and other fighting games work. And since it's all turn-based, you can make smart and informed decisions easier, and understanding a character is as easy as watching them in action during a fight.

Pro Tip: Don't be afraid to quickly look over your opponent's options during your turn while you're learning! It'll give you a better idea of what they can and can't deal with. If the timer runs out and you have an action selected, you'll perform that action instead of simply continuing to do whatever you were doing before, and usually doing something by accident is better than doing nothing by accident. (But doing nothing on PURPOSE is another story!)

I haven't finished the game yet, but it stands very well as a platformer, Metroidvania, and combat challenge. The unique charms make it easy for me to customize my playstyle though the overall gameplay stays the same, and I'm definitely anticipating what every item and upgrade in the game can do.
