Thank you Valve and Campo Santo folks. What an incredible game. The best FPS created so far. Was truly a thrill ride in VR.

If we will ever get HL3 or a follow-up to HL:A, I can't wait.

You guys made the perfect VR experience.

A really well done VR game. Such a delightful film noir style comedic adventure game based in a robot world. The puzzles are quite on the light side. Game is approximately one hour long and well worth the normal asking price and definitely recommended also when on sale like it is right now. Sequel is also out today, can't wait to experience that one too.

Fantastic remaster of two old classic Command & Conquer games including all the add on campaigns as well. Frank Klepacki has remastered the musics to even better form. New upgraded graphics look even better than I was hoping for and it's as easy as clicking space to seamlessly transform between the original classic graphics and the new graphics. There is also a new zoom mode and all sorts of options to alter the controlling options.

Cutscene videos are upscaled and look better than ever, no interlacing anymore. Shame that the original master tapes/reels for the cutscenes are lost in time and could not be found in any storage room vaults of EA, but Petroglyph, EA & co. have done a fantastic job here overall and this remaster is well worth the 20€ asking price and even more.

Absolutely fantastic labour of love.

What can I say, clearly the worst game in the franchise and the game that also killed the franchise.

Remedy sold the rights of Max Payne to Rockstar and Rockstar did what they always do, turned it into something that Max Payne never was.

On positive side, James McCaffrey is still the voice of Max Payne, he also got to do motion capture for Max and if I remember correctly, his face was used to make Max's face for the third game.

The animation with Max Payne was excellent when flying towards obstacles and enemies dying and rolling down the stairs etc., but this was expected as the game is 9 years newer than the previous Max Payne game. Technology moves forward.

On the negative side, the music is Rockstar's style and it could be something that would be fine in a GTA game, but it does not fit Max Payne's world at all. The theme music from the older games is the only one that appears a few times. Otherwise it's just licensed music and no original soundtrack seems to exist.

It really annoyed me that for a game about the hero of the night, the night avenger Max Payne, most of the game is played in bright daylight. That's just wrong. I did like the New York missions and I hoped there would have been at least twice more of such missions.

Brazil itself wasn't the problem, but Rockstar missed quite badly on the themes of what makes Max Payne a Max Payne game.

Gunplay and gameplay was alright, it was taken quite directly from the previous games. Shootdodge was there and bullet time as well. The two trademark Max Payne features. It seemed there was even more bullet time to be used than in the previous games as I got the feeling the bullet time didn't run out so fast.

Dialogue in the game was way too serious all the time, it was lacking the sharp comedic way how Sam Lake wrote the dialogue in the past games. Houser from Rockstar just doesn't know how to write good dialogue. It really felt like the game was a GTA game disguised as Max Payne game in that aspect. Also the story was a disappointment.

It felt really weird to have McCaffrey shouting as Max all the time as that was complete change of character from earlier. It just seemed to come worse and worse the further the game went.

It was sad that the amount of easter eggs and other Remedy trademarks were pretty much gone, this is a Rockstar product after all...

One of the story aspects that annoyed me the most was the absolute disgrace treatment that Houser & co decided to do fo r Mona Sax. The greatest character besides Max Payne from the past two games was relegated to "a mistake" in brief mentions.

The old games had the fantastic comic book storyboards that gave flow to the story as replacement to cutscenes. Here Rockstar decided to remove the comic book storyboards completely and instead have like one minute of gameplay and then constantly breaking the flow with three minute cutscenes like this was some Metal Gear Solid game.

All in all, disappointment. I did buy the game years ago, but never really wanted to play it because of it's bad reputation. This autumn I decided to play all three games back to back and now I see the reputation it has is all true.

The difference between Max Payne 1&2 and Max Payne 3 is that the first two are an enjoyment that can be played again every 10 years or so and revisit them, but Max Payne 3 is a game that I will never return to. It has nothing memorable that would make a player want to return to it.

Also, Rockstar Social Club, absolutely not. That should've never been integrated with this game. Extra DRM always sucks and more than once it forgot my login and had to re-enter that. Rockstar needs to sort out their problems.

Remedy made in two years a sequel to their fantastic new IP Max Payne 15 years ago. They made huge advancements in technology and the game still looks superb today.

Voice acting is just top notch and James McCaffrey is just perfect as the voice of Max Payne. Wendy Hoopes is also mesmerizing as Mona Sax.

The music is just as expected, same style and quality as in the first game.

The tragic hero of the night's journey continues in the sequel and many familiar characters from the first game are visited in the second one as well.

Remedy really made a great effort with all the secret easter eggs and other funny background scenes that Max Payne 2 is filled with here and there.

Absolutely fantastic game that is still as good as it was when it was released 17 years ago. The game that introduced bullet time to the gaming world in all it's perfection.

Max Payne is a tragic hero of the night and Remedy packed the game so full of funny scenes. Just recently replayed the game and it was the best +7 hours of gaming in a long time.

James McCaffrey is the perfect dark deep voice for Max Payne. Otherwise the voice acting is really well done and it can be heard that a lot of effort went into casting fantastic voice actors and acctresses for the characters.

Sam Lake's dialogue is sharp and the game is full of memorable characters.

Absolutely necessary game to enjoy for all players who are fans of 3rd person shooters.

I am an old fan of Kick Off and Kick Off 2 on Commodore Amiga who played hundreds and hundreds hours of both games on Amiga in the 90's and I was really interested in the Revival version. Now upon buying and trying it, I noticed it's an Early Access game in the shape of a full game. There are many modes missing like league mode as currently only friendly match and european cup are the playable modes, no customization options for game time, referee, weather conditions etc. There are only national teams available for playing and even those are just some countries. For example Japan and South Korea are completely missing. League clubs are completely missing from the game. You can't even decide your line up or the formation before the game.

The view looks like in the original games, but the gameplay unfortunately feels off.

There have been no updates for the game in five months so it seems it has been at this point abandoned by the developer which is a shame. I really would've loved this to be the Kick Off that could be called the true successor to the great Kick Off 2. I will look into this game again if it receives more updates in the future to make it look more like a real game than an Early Access game. In it's current form I would not recommend it to old fans.

Early Access Review
Insanely good car game that could've only spawned from the mind of a Finnish game developer. You are a a hillbilly small village guu who needs to build his old Datsun like crappy car from scratch. Then you hit the roads and do all kinds of crazy small town things like go to the local pub and drink beer. Go to your sauna and drink beer. Go to tour car, drive and drink beer. Now you get the idea.

Dark and gloomy tale of alcoholism and how it affects the lives of people and their surroundings. The game is about a little girl who's name is Lydia and how she sees her world. It's an adventure game in the point'n click genre, but shares many things with the so called walking simulators of the few past years. So especially if you like excellent games like Gone Home, Samorost and Firewatch, this is a game for you. The puzzles are very light, but the core of the game is the well done music and sound design and of course the story. Graphics design is grim and dark, but completely in the tone of the story.

Everyone will experience the story differently on a personal level depending what you have experienced in your youth.

Even after over ten years of break from playing the game. It just simply is the best GTA made in the series. Setting, musics, overall feeling is just so great. The city and surrounding areas are not too large so it isn't a modern sandbox game, instead everything is managable and city is very nice sized. Story is typical Hauser writing, but it works well here.

Voice acting is top notch, with Ray Liotta leading the cast as the main character that you play as. The textures are from the early 2000's era, but if you can live with that, you are then ready for an ultimate experience in a great GTA world.
