Another great game from Atlus. Can't wait for Persona 6.

If you are fan then this will be a great bite-size game before the next game release in Jan 2024.

A great remake which legend of mana 2 was suppose to be....

It is now somewhat a decent game; but.... still need more frequent content updates, not the cosmetic updates.

This game is the main reason why I bought the Steamdeck for.

The game has great voice acting (Japanese first play through) and tactical part of the game.

But there are some downside compare to the SFC/SNES version of it that the level cap system through story progression is punishing and the difficulty gets you when you fight a boss enemies when they are above your level, and sometimes can kill you in 1 or 2 hits. And the boss enemies do magic critical hits way too often.

There are few more downgrade parts of the game, from SFC/SNES:

You most likely need to reach (max out) union level first to progress the story line smoothly.
No Actual Practice Mode
No unique weapons
AI you tried to save (and recruit) is being way too stupid.
No Random Encounter
Non-heroic character (custom) can't be overpower Heroic Charter in stats unless grind.

will add more.

This game works perfectly on Steamdeck.

It's the best of the series in most ways; and finally, there's a happy ending for the ex-yakuza.

eh.... I'm not sure I would recommend this game, not just yet.
I don't think this game is fully optimized for PC, there's some cut-scene part that make your fps down to 5 fps.
And the control / keyboard mouse key mapping is somewhat horrendous.
And this game is capable for ultra-wide monitor support but it seems it's blocked by the letter box on left and right on my 5120 x 1440 monitor, gotta wait for the mod.

And... the maps/level styles are.. not that great.

It's a simple town sim game with some of The Binding of Isaac.
