This game is so wonderfully cozy, it reminds me of home more than any game ever has.

Perfect game to eat while playing a plate of spaghetti.

Very fun, proppa orky, really makes me wish there was a Gorkamorka CRPG or something, but until that happens, I'll just have fun with this game, because there is plenty of fun to be had.

I heard about this game when Power Pak did a video on it, bought it, and played it a month later because I've got the memory of a concussed goldfish. Genuinely inspired concept for a game, it's like queer iron lung with an even more weird and obtuse gameplay gimmick.

This is one of the most fun games I have played in a very long time, and the model for the microtransactions is about as good as you can expect. Hopefully I won't have to make this review negative again because of some dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This game isn't a sequel, it's a strange doppelganger of the first game that skinned it and is wearing it as a coat.

As an actual game, I can't recommend this unless you have at least one friend, or ideally multiple, who want to play it with you. If you want visuals that are on a similar level, but with gameplay that is much more enjoyable, just buy Darktide, or wait for Darktide to get a bit better, as there is a fair bit missing at time of writing.

That having been said, though, this game beautifully nails the visual style of 40k in a way that I do not think can be outdone, though other games have a very similarly well done and faithful recreation of the grim darkness of the far future. There have been multiple times where I will reinstall the game just to walk around the levels and admire the care and attention to detail that went into making this game from a visual design standpoint. The next best game in that regard is, funnily enough, Necromunda: Hired Gun, made by Streum On Studios as well, so to say that they understand the visual style of 40k is a serious understatement.

The gameplay is trying to be as faithful to Space Hulk, as in, the board game that I desperately wish GW would do another release of. It is a bit awkward, but the design decisions they chose do make more sense once you understand that.

A much more fulfilling use of your $6 than using it to get more weird porn.

Every time I start getting into the game and enjoying it, a really good run gets cut short by an enemy that spawned behind scenery so that I literally could not see until they'd killed me, or the moment I start in a level having something kill me before I even get a chance to move out of the way.

You can curb stomp old man Hitler, so I think I'm morally obligated to recommend this game.
