This game is highly recommended. You have so much to do and so many characters you can date. There is fishing, farming, mining (fighting in mines), collecting bugs/flowers/mushrooms, ranching, diving, cooking, lore, finishing goddess temple collections, going to festivals, winning mini-games/competitions, and decorating both indoor/outdoor of your farm. There's a little bit of everything.

Some cool noteworthy things about this game is that the characters have different outfits every season and expressions that you can unlock in their profile/relationship chart that doesn't unlock until you actually talk to them when they are wearing that particular outfit. The map also tells you where you can find them throughout the day! There are also multiple hang out spots that you can take them to on the map that have different activities to each area depending on your relationship level with them. Another noteworthy thing is that you can make the days longer or shorter in the option menu in case you are trying to do too much at once ...slowing speed of day down between 50% - 100% , the 100% being normal speed. This is very helpful in taking out stress of trying to explore the whole area for the forageables of the day but still allowing you to do all your farmwork/watering and store shopping you need to do in the beginning of a new season.

Overall, definitely recommend if you are looking for an exploration, collection, casual farming game.

I love this game. Its so good that I am waiting for all the content to come out because I keep binge playing the game. This has really nice cozy game play, doesn't seem clunky, and very cozy to play.

Playing for just a few hours and I can already tell this game has a lot of secrets. Finding just 2 of the easier secrets was pretty crazy. As for other aspects, there is definitely a lot to do between fishing, diving in the underworld, fighting the monster in underworld, catching bugs, TRYING to make enough money to get super expensive seeds and bag upgrade, and upgrading your farm...I haven't even touched the storyline.

Pro:
1. A lot to do (typical things you found in Stardew including secrets that are hard to find)
2. Pretty interesting characters...they are kind of nuts, all of them
3. Graphics are interesting including character detail on calendar vs how you see them. Very cute visuals.
4. Map is a pretty decent size, lots to explore and secrets to find

Con:
1. Cutscenes in morning or during festivals SUCK, dialogue goes too fast to read (cant slow down)
2. There is very little inventory management (no min/max button, split stack is scroll wheel which if you go to fast you will have to re-click and start over, sorting is meh)
3. A newbie would have a hard time figuring out how to do things (no tutorial or telling you that you need to get blueprints or wait for mail/cutscene to unlock to make ingots, better tools, etc)
4. The text might be hard for some to see as it is tiny and the GUI scale does not help it.

Both Pro/Con:
1. Time goes incredibly fast but you can adjust day length in settings.
2. So many CROPS
3. The prices on things are crazy expensive including crops (200+ for one seed on some basic seeds) but as you play you can earn quite a bit if you know how to play games like this...
4. So many secrets and hints are very vague that there are secrets there

FYI this game is not in cloud! You have to move save file manually to each computer you play on. The location of folder to save is: C:\Users\WHAT EVER YOUR USER IS CALLED\AppData\LocalLow\Chonky Loaf
Copy entire Chonky Loaf file and paste it in same location on other computer once you download game. Make sure it is in the Local Low location not where your game download is.

Sit back & Relax Nominated. I love just exploring the 3 cities and enjoying the game. You can spend hours in this game. I would of nominated it for Better with Friends but I had another game that only was good with friends.

I voted for this to be Game of the Year since I love the art style, game play, unique cat perspective, story-line and music. I hope this wins for 2022.

Really good story line and most characters have a background, even the background NPC have their own dialogue. The puzzles actually make you think and doesn't just hand it to you on a silver platter. You actually have to pay attention to the surroundings in order to complete most puzzles. Click EVERYWHERE and be RICH (just do it)! Art style actually very unique in a good way. Forewarning this game ends on a Cliffhanger for the next game coming out later in 2022 (not out as of this review)! Definitely worth the money, the game play and story line have quite a few hours even if you are really good with puzzles, love the cut scenes.

A great game to come back to in between other games. The start is addicting and there is a ton to do after you reach max level. This is one game where getting to max level isn't the end...its the beginning of crazy more content.

I need to come back to this game. I enjoyed all the building and exploring. Very good about giving you a lot you can focus on.

I am really enjoying this game even though I hate jump scares. Its really intense sometimes. You don't need friends as you can play with other people in the lobby.

I really enjoy this game even though I'm not that good at it. Definitely nominating this game for "best game you suck at". The game is difficult to keep them alive but I really like trying to get better and better.
