Really stylish and fun game! Goofy and over-the-top in entertaining ways. The gunplay feels really satisfying and I love the intense colours and lighting for the various levels. It also pulls off something that I don't often see, which is that stealth is just as exciting and fun as guns-blazing. Really impressive that this game was mostly made by a single guy as well! Definitely recommend it if it's the sort of game you tend to enjoy

This game receives quite a lot of unjust dismissal. this game is definitely worth your attention if you like the other two dark souls games

simply put, DS2 is a ruby in a bowl of diamonds. sure, it might not be as polished as the other two, but compared to any other game that isn't made by from software, it's a masterpiece.

the story is a bit shallow and cliché, the graphics are sometimes pretty but often quite bland and stale, the exploration is slow, repetitive and unrewarding. it's inoffensive and can be enjoyable to some people, but talking from the perspective of one who actually enjoys many walking simulators, this was a pretty bland one

CS:GO Review
a game that I hope will live on for a long while. I don't personally play it that often, but I sure as hell enjoy myself when I do. of course there are some annoying and rude people in the game, but that's a fault with humanity, not the game itself. it's a fair game

a game that manages to be difficult yet never frustrating, much like dark souls before it. a striking art style that is both extremely colorful and majestic. the controlls are tight, the gameplay feels really nice and it never felt like any of my deaths were the game's fault. the music is very ambient and doesn't take centre stage very often, but still masterfully accomplishes all that it set out to do

I played this a few years ago and not a single game has since been able to make me cry this much

in a good way that is

Story: 10/10
really, this is the game's strong point and it's the main reason for why I and most people adore this game. it's exciting, dramatic, emotional and even pretty funny at times with one of the most tear-jerking ending I've experienced.

Visuals: 7/10
they aren't fantastic, but they really don't have to be. they say what needs to be said and not a whole lot more.

Music: 9/10
this is the second thing that makes this experience worth having. this beautifully orchistrated score with a heavy emphasis on the piano really helps set the mood for every occasion. the sound quality could have been a tad bit better though

Gameplay: 5/10
this game really does blur the line between an interactive story and a video game. the only real source of gameplay other than exploration is the small, mostly insignificant and very easy puzzles between each segment in the story, but then, it really doesn't impact the game in a negative way as it works just fine without a whole lot of gameplay.

it isn't a very long game; I beat it in just over four hours, but damn it, it's worth your money! I promise!

a very enjoyable game, but probably too expensive concidering the length. wait until a sale before buying

I sneezed and accidentally missed the game.

all jokes aside, although it does have some enjoyable qualities to it such as the unique art style and interesting concept, the fact of the matter is that this game frankly isn't worth the money. you can literally beat it in 10 minutes, there is no challenge and the storytelling is simply a mess.

Early Access Review
to give you a feel for what the game is like, here was my experience with it:

I spawn into this world and I'm instantly immersed in the game. the graphics look really appealing to me, but I've also heard people say that it's too grainy and/or hard to look at, so this is very subjective. the music was really atmospheric and it really put me in the mood for a creepy survival experience, but here's what happened instead

I spawned in a house with a rifle in it. there was no tutorial so I had to look up in the settings what buttons did what. I stood there for a while as I couldn't decide whether to keep my starting gun or take the one on the ground. there was no way for me to tell which was the better option, so I settled on the one I started with. after exiting the house I realized I could see through walls to an extent, which I found was a quite interesting feature. only a few seconds had passed as my character says ''uh oh'' and the music got more creepy. instinctively I ran back into the house and hid there, expecting a monster to come. eventually, the music went back to normal and then I went out to explore

I ran into a monster on my way to a city of sorts, and I killed it easily and continued onwards. I searched through the houses for supplies until I was very well equipped. another monster approached and I obliterated it. at that point, I also found out that, apparently, monsters can't enter houses, or at least not the one I encountered.

I then took a moment and wondered ''ok, but what am I actually supposed to do?'' all I could do was to explore and to walk around, so I did

I explored and explored, one house after another. ''oh look, a bridge'' ''oh look, a harbour'' ''oh look, a lab'' I found nothing interesting in any of them. they were all the same old houses I'd seen dozens of times already, but bigger.

one hour had passed and I had found only two monsters that I killed with ease and I had practically explored the entire map. that was when my play session ended

after looking up a bit about the game online, I found that it has quite some potential, but I feel like the developers are shooting themselves in the foot by releasing it with so little actual content. the atmosphere was really good in the beginning and if they could have actually made the monsters either more threatening or higher in number, while also adding more content and variety, the game wouldn't get repetitive as soon as it did.

the houses were all the same, the UI is confusing, there is no tutorial, there is no objective, special locations are exactly the same as normal locations, I encountered 2 monsters in one hour and they were incredibly easy to kill, the multiplayer is dead and ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rotating camera

I give the game a 3/10. wait for the game to get more updates until buying it if you are interested in it
