It's fun and cute, not to complex. And the narative is pretty great.

I switched between "I paid 40 bucks for this game so i better finish it" and "oh my god i'm so bored".

I can totally see why other people would like it though, its just not for me.

Maybe it's just to slow paced for me, and that's why it fails to grab my attention. If you're really into stuff like dear ester you might like it more then me.

You'll get pretty attached to the colonists in your team. But at some point, a raid happens and you lose a couple. The colony goes through a rough time, the food runs out and vulcanic winter starts. More colonists
are dying, and the others are starving. It's seems like everything is lost...

But, the volcanic clouds clear up, and the sun can be seen... A bulk goods trader comes over and we buy all of his foods with our inedible gold. The worst is over, it's uphill from here. Next years harvest is great and some artsy dude named "camel" joined your colony. The art he makes can be sold for better weapons to protect us from raids to come. Soon others join as well and your colony is growing bigger then ever.

It make you wonder if some being is steering our lives to achieve an objective that we can't even begin to comprehent. It's pretty a neat concept and applicable to these wacky times.

On a scale from art it to bleh, it's quite art.
