I stumbled across Life Is Strange™ after running out of Telltale games and picked it up expecting it to be a lesser cousin based on the same formula. I was wrong. Life Is Strange™ tells a more mature and harrowing story than I was expecting (especially on the comedown after Tales from the Borderlands) and deals with a range of real-life issues that video games normally shy away from. It's generally well presented and well paced, though I did suffer from a few bugs and there are a few duff puzzles, and did an excellent job of drawing me in to the character's lives.

If you want an engaging and emotional storytelling experience I recommend this game. If you want guns and explosions, well, it's probably not for you.
