My main activity for the addon was the campaign. The game setting is nice, and the cutscenes are on the level you'd expect from Destiny. But to balance that level design is atrocious as it forces you to "just spend time" without getting any fun in return:

1. New game mechanics are repeated ad nauseam in each campaign mission. You are _forced_ to become an energy ball and crawl into tight spaces time and time again... just for the sake of it.
2. Levels are quite intentionally built in a confusing way. You don't know where to go and there are no usual signs for the direction like lighting or director pointer (via Tab). It's OK to have 3-year-old find-a-thing puzzles once or twice, but not every 5 minutes...
3. Archon boss stage is build in such a way, that you're constantly falling off it to the space and die, especially while you're in "ragdoll-like" state of the high-speed flying energy ball. This leads to lots of deaths which are just random and fun-killing.

The campaign content presentation is somewhat questionable. Intermediary dialogs are often placed in such a way that you can't actually skip them, e.g. at the end of mission timeout or as a in-level unskippable animated dialogs. The dialogs themselves are quite good, but the game forces you just to spend time just running around while the dialog plays, which becomes frustrating quite soon.

All in all the campaign was quite good at the start, and then I started thinking "this is so confusing to navigate", and then I got to "could it please end" phase.

So, I cannot recommend the addon as something for a new player or for a one looking for a "storytelling in action" thing.

Online mode is never working. My friends are disconnecting within 5 minutes of cooperative play.

Early Access Review
The game VR needed. Terribly exciting and... exhaustive.

Not a lot of songs, but I want to play them again and again... and again.
Higher difficulty levels will make your hands suffer. And you'll like it.

Update:

Sadly, the highest difficulty level ("Expert+") is too awkward to play. The flow of the track is often broken and a lot of track elements are positioned in an unintuitive/uncomfortable way (which makes you do very awkward high speed movements and often leads to controller colisions).

As the result, the game I played for hours is now reduced to the one played several minutes a day.
