8 oz spaghetti
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup grated parmesan
Salt and black pepper
Small handful parsley (optional)
Instructions:
Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ~¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook ~30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the drained pasta and a splash of the pasta water. Toss to coat.
Stir in parmesan, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Toss until glossy. Top with parsley and extra parmesan.
