Hell Let Loose is a game that I enjoy from my heart despite my skepticism.

I have played some games like this, Rising storm Vietnam, red orchesta 2 and this game, in my honest opinion is better than both.

The immersion and fidelity in this game ensure that I become completely focused on it and become one with my game character.

Although I have learned that I am quite useless in a real war as I cannot hit a tank with an MG if I am right next to it, as a Squad Leader role I have already experienced the most amazing and scary moments ever in a game, When the fog is there
and it keeps you from seeing the 3 Panthers moving up along with the enemy team whilst you only hear the sounds of approaching hostiles or if you turn around and see a Bombing run coming up, you will find yourself in the situation more than once that you wish you were watching TV at home the couch. That is the immersion that this game gives.

You also have your team mates and squad mates, communication is key, without it the game becomes half as fun, so do not be afraid if your voice is an octave too high, do not be afraid if you are from the opposite gender, if you use your microphone to communicate it is always respected because that microphone of yours makes the difference of a Victory or a loss.

In other words are: Hell Let Loose, Immersive, Fidelity, Respect, Teamwork, Pleasure.

I've played this game ever since it came out in 2006.

I remember the hype from that time about this game. I ran into the closetst game store to buy it on cd (A shame steam can't track those hours)

Why should you play this game? other than that it is a classic in the star wars universe and a RTS game that went down a path that not many other RTS games went?

Well there is the fact that they did something that no gamedeveloper seems to be able to do these theys they finished a game properly.

For its age the graphics are top noths in the RTS world
The voice acting is perfect with the original voices for the iconic characters. Han Solo ans Han Solo, Boba Fett as Boba Fett and ofcoarse Darth Vader as Darth Vader!

Play massive space battles
Or giant ground battles
Concquer an entire universe
Or have a fun match with your friends via the newest update that they released!
Or even better challange your friend to a massive 1v1 campaing that will last hours or days!

And if the original content is not enough for you check out the newly added workshop and change the entire setting to a diffrent era wtihin the star wars universe or even outside it (like battlestar galactica or Halo)

Overall it is a game that is easy to play, hard to master and endless hours of fun.

Oh and the most important part, a game that acctually recieved and update after 11 year!
