Well I've gotta say, the writing is cringe af. Not quite as bad as a Nicholson Baker novel, but... painful, at times. The VAs are good, the whole game is voiced, and the art is hot. It's basically a comic that reads itself. Slap on the autoplay and enjoy.

Recommended. Yeah... y'know... if you hate yourself.

Also if you manage to find yourself on a less... "hostile" server, the building system and all the stuff you can use to make it feel like home are quite in depth and fun to play around with (find a server that lets you delete constructions for free, or for a refund). I guess the guns are good, too, but I wouldn't know about all that.

It's like Slime Rancher, but the slimes are all manner of creature and the breeding is a bit more... involved. (Also you don't get to see your friendos milling about in their pens, but I hope that comes with a "yet.")

Breeders is much... well... *better* in many regards than a game of its sort has any business being. Not only is it quite pretty, from the models to the environment, but it handles surprisingly well—save for a few weird camera swoops. I admit getting pinned in certain situations is a bit tedious, but oh well. Autoclicker recommended, it'll save you some finger strain. No comment on strain to your offhand.

Offers a huge array of playstyles from complete stealth to run-and-gun, all enabled by your ability to stop time and plan your next move. There are some situations that feel a bit unfair that generally have to do with being unconscious and being up against a timer. Also there is no way to recover survival time, like a medical station or something.

HAWKEN is very good for the kind of free-to-play game that it is. While microtransactions are present, the only things you actually have to spend money (Meteor Points) on are cosmetic upgrades - everything else can be bought with Hawken Creds.

The actual Mech play is very quick and responsive, much moreso than Titanfall, however, this game does not have an infantry component. The mechs are very agile, can spin, hover, and boost as long as they have fuel. Weapon balance is good though certain combinations are more destructive than others, especially in the hands of competent players, which is to be expected.

Teamwork is key in this game, though, and a team which sticks together is usually the one which will win.

Borderlands 2 is fun to actually play for the story the first time or two through, but if you find yourself making multiple characters, doing the beginning missions over and over again gets tiresome. That said, I do recommend playing with friends; the enemies are more powerful and more plentiful but a full party more than makes up for it and it's good fun with gunshots and particle effects flying everywhere.

The gunplay itself is solid and the sheer number of guns is unparalleled... except perhaps in Loadout.
Character talents vary from useless to absolutely critical, so play around with those.
The DLC is often fun, of course the purely cosmetic ones are absolutely unnecessary but some of them look pretty cool. Content DLC like Assault on Dragon Keep is good for a many hours of playtime and I would recommend those, as well.
