As someone who has played almost every rpg in the last decade I would say this is decent, worth a play. The character creator is weak but the godlike features are unique. Choices matter. However I dont get obsidian's adversity to adding romance into their games, quite odd to me. Either way, combat is fun, story is interesting and runs fine on a steam deck too so you're able to play on the move. I would say get it if its on sale and you fancy something new.

I bought the game after seeing the hype years ago but never got round to it. So glad I finally started it - hype deserved. I am absolutely addicted. Despite the game being quite simple in premises, theres always something to do. And even when you think youre doing well, and have made a good team - bam one bad round with a boss and you're back to square one. If you love challenge and an interesting story this is for you!

played for the first time in 2024, though it had never left, it definitely rekindled my love rpgs. what a stellar game with hours of content and incredible companions.

this game has continued to make my life better for years now and as soon as i got my pc, despite having loads of new games to play i started by once again buying this game. once you experience it once, you will never forget it.
