Don't bother with this unless you have a squad, or until they add solo mode, because ppl are afraid to speak or ping for some reason. Let's you get shot in the back without uttering a single word.

Dive in the pits of Democracy!!!

A very fun game that combines Melee's speed and physics with their own little twist. Coming from Smash, it really isn't difficult to find the right character that matches the play-style you're used to, which is great. The workshop is amazing with an outstanding amount of custom characters and stages. It also has a discord for helpful tips and tricks. The connectivity is great in matches compared to any platform fighter I've played and if you're looking for a quick sparing partner, refer to the discord. As fun as this game is, be warned, you must stay on your game with this one, for players are always evolving. Long breaks from this game will have you playing a lot of catch-up, skill-wise. One con with this game would be the playerbase and matchmaking. The game currently has a lower online playerbase possibly due to people thinking "oh this is just another smash clone," or whatever, but deep down the mechanics are great and there are tons of people that will hop off whatever they're playing to go a few rounds with you. Another personal gripe I have is regarding the game's matchmaking which kinda plays off the online playerbase. The game is lacking a MMR system which I hope that the sequel is working on, because either starting off fresh or having a average skill level, you're gonna run into a lot of people that outclasses you, ranked or casual. But don't let that discourage you, again, you always have the discord.
