Why won't you let me keep my 100% achievements for more than a month or so?
Stop giving me (sometimes free) great DLCs and new stuff to try out.
I want to play something else but you won't let me.

In principle and for most of my ingame time I really enjoyed the experience, a relaxing, grindy, social sim (not much farming to be done, honestly) - but especially lately (and even more so after the last patch) the performance issues and bugs have sincerely stopped me from enjoying this game anymore. The server connection issues come almost in a 15-30 min rhythm and need you to restart the game, cooking is bugged and wastes your hard-earned ressources. Climbing is bugged, animals/bugs are bugged. The potential and charm is there for sure, but including some odd decisions on how to develop this game, and the issues mentioned, make me not recommend this game in its current state.

Given the time I've played, it is apparent, that this has become a special game to me. It's evolved into the perfect on the side game, whether I watch a video, eat, listen to a podcast, or even for a time as my main focus. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly good to just enjoy it on its own, it's just the right kind of casual, right kind of relaxing, that I find myself drawn to it for a minute or an hour, or several in fact, depending on my mood. Would I wish for more tiles, more biomes, more elements? Maybe. But it is what it is, perfectly fine, perfectly enjoyable - no masterwork, but the right kind of game for the right kind of moment.

On first sight not a game that seems worthy to hold your attention for long - yet it is almost incomparable in how fast you get addicted to it. It shows once again, that a good basis - game mechanics - lends itself to excuse a story, graphics or almost anything else.

The movement is smooth and exciting, the logistics satisfying,
the grinding less punishing than most survival games around.

If the dev (btw. great respect for it being solo-made) can build upon this sandbox with a more diverse and complex building system and more content in general, it truly has the immense potential of few others in this crowded genre.

Played through this game on a "different launcher".

And. What. An. Experience. It. Was.

First of all, i dislike Roguelikes, or Rogue-lites.
Often too hectic for me, too overwhelming, little that gets me into their worlds.

But this game is a piece of art. In story, gameplay, MUSIC (Darren Korb you're a beast), artstyle, atmosphere. There's no weakpoint.
Ah, did I say characters yet? CHARACTERS. They are probably my favorite part of the whole.
I might've fallen in love with one or two of them, it's a blur.

This game has surprised me probably more than any I've played before in that it opened me up to an unliked genre and managed to grow to one of my favorite games of all time.

Seriously. Worth it.

An example of Indie Gaming being a real treasure trove.
Addictive, both deep and easy to get into gameplay.
Art style that is focused and grounded.
A developer team that is communicating openly and frequently,
making this game feel very much alive.
And those updates. Man. That is impressive work.
Definitely recommend, what a treat, especially at this price point!
