In it's current state, it's a few steps away from being a dead game, low playercounts, frustrating hit registration and overall either soft cheaters or the sweatiest players you've seen.

RedSec is just warzone with battlefield flavoring, It's the best Battle Royale Battlefield has ever had, it hit all the nails where it had to, but it comes as overall pretty boring after a few matches.

The multiplayer leaves too much to be desired, Lack of maps, lack of weapons, as well as some being completely useless and others completely broken, (and I'll also complain about open class weapons), just leaves no taste of the classic battlefield feeling.

This game was also advertised as a return to boots on the ground, all realistic, grounded gameplay but in reality this is all fake. there is no clear distinction between PAX armata and NATO.

In short:
EA sucks as a company, from both the executive branch and it's customer support.

I love myself a ww2 tactical shooter with team mechanics, but this is not it.

Here's why:

- Most servers have minimum level requirement, which is most often than not lvl 50+, this is for straight up joining servers or for certain classes (Like officer, Spotter, Tanks, Commanders, Snipers), which some I do get, and some of them don't.
- Some servers even have stupid rules like not being able to choose what you like because you are missing a certain class which is central to your squad. (I got kicked because we didn't have an officer, and it's because of the first point I made, which is stupid as hell).
- Most people are really rude or straight up command-kill, kick, remove from squad or ban new people to the game. They will straight up complain about everything and everyone, If you're not doing something THEY want, they'll make sure you know.
- As said before there is no way of actually learning the game for new players, aside from in-game tutorials, which in itself it is a shame.
- You're likely going to be waiting 20 minutes just to get in a match because of VIP slots or wait 20 minutes because all the servers you can play are empty. Maybe this isn't an issue for EU, ASIA, US players, But I don't really recommend it if you're from LATAM (You'll most likely have 200 ping minimum, which if you're playing slow it doesn't really matter that much.)

TDLR: If you still want to buy this, let me tell you, the game is just amazing, The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is really good (when you get to play what you want) but the community is just the worse. If you like having to deal with toxic neckbeards who will tell you how to play the game you bought, this is for you, I guess.

I would recommend other games over this. Red Orchestra 2, ARMA or SQUAD 44', if you're looking for something more team-based and methodical. If you want something more casual, play BFV or Day Of Infamy or Enlisted, or even World at War.

PD: If you are one of these neckbeards, please just touch grass. The game is really not that hard.

I love this game. I Played it as much as I could, doing as many things the game allowed me to do, singleplayer, multiplayer, (mostly broken) mods.

Sadly this was another case of a developer not caring a thing about their game and softening it to appeal to a much wider audience, while compromising it's awful but real depiction into something marketable.

There's no need for censorship,
No need to appeal to a wider audience.

This game was fun made for an specific target audience, those who enjoy it's close to realistic gunplay and enviroment, that for some hit too close to home. You can't expect to turn back on your audience and deserve the same respect you once earned.
