I'm the kind of guy who use a grenade launcher when an alien is jumping in my face and survive! But when my friend is shooting the aliens with a sniper from behind me, kill them all, leaving me a safe road... I'll die by stupidly falling down a cliff.
My favorite weapon mix is a grenade launcher with a rocket launcher as secondary weapon, even in close combat... it's stupid but funny!
