im sure a lot of you remember the survival game hype from a couple years ago, games like The Forest, Rust, Ark, etc. I'm also sure you saw this and thought "wow another survival game this is probably terrible." I thought the same thing. I was dead wrong. This has quickly become one of my favorite games. it feels both familiar and refreshing. The graphics are reminiscent of minecraft, and the skill systems is similar to runescape 07'. With a massive world to explore and seemingly endless enemies to fight. i will find myself playing this game for a good while.

A lot of the bad reviews youll find fault only the camera, which in my opinion works fine for what it is, a tool. The camera works fine for manipulating your view so that you can see angle of attack better. Sure there is a learning curve to using it but spend more than 5 minutes messing around with it and you will have no problem. Now with that out of the way im very happy to see this updated version of spintires with a new and reputable publisher, Focus Home Interactive. The game has a bright future with their backing. 50% off for owners of the original, i know there are worse things i have spent way more money on (looking at you ubi).

so far i have many matches and wins under my belt and i can easily say that this game has become a contender for one of my favorite games. coming from having around 900 hours on arma 3 to this, i am very happy that the control scheme is very similar. im running on a FX-6300 and GTX 1070sc and i average about 90 fps in game so thats another plus. my only real complaints about the game are as follows

-UNSTABLE
in my experience this game is extremely unstable. it tends to crash to the point where i must hard reset the PC. (early access blah blah blah)
- HITBOXES
i have found that ADS with particular guns such as handgun is entirely bugged and your rounds will not go where you are aming
-SOUND
my last issue is that Plane/Wind tend to be overpowering to the point where i cant hear either my teammates or anything else around me. Not good in a FFA.

Overall i recommend this title as its very addicting and a blast with friends. Once you get that first win the hunger for more gets ya.
