I still need to finish this, but I am not big on turn based games, and this one has kept me interested enough that I'm about halfway through it and will actually finish it. Not a perfect game by any means, because no game is, but I definitely have enjoyed the time I've put into it so far.

Played about 2 hours of it so far, and it's not too bad. Some English has issues, but nothing that deters from the gameplay itself. If you like action games, it's worth a playthrough at least once.

If you expect anything from this game other than an okay action game, booby physics, and a meh story, you're in the wrong place. I said it was worth a play through once, not that it was an outstanding game that you should rush out and buy. Nothing against the creator, but if you can catch it on sale, knock yourself out, but don't expect it to be the next best DMC style game, because that it's not.

Alright, so, as much as I'm beyond CoD games, because they've gotten so damn repetitive, this was exactly what it was when it originally came out. I can't just do a mediocre recommendation, however, so I'm going with yes, unlike everyone else. But, I'm also the opposite of a lot of people these days, because I stopped playing MP with MW3, pretty much.

It looks better, yes, and nice to have an actual leaning ability again, instead of that "contextual" leaning crap.

But, other than that, yeah, not horrible.

But, the one thing I keep seeing from people for the MP that I will touch on, since a lot of them have forgotten: the ONLY reason the variety map pack was free with the original version when it first came out was because of NVidia sponsoring it, thus it had already been paid for. And then they put out the GOTY edition which actually had it included with the game, so either way, it was paid for, just not necessarily by "you".

So, I'm going to start this off by stating that this if for the campaign only, because I gave up on Call of Duty MP way back with Ghosts.

As for the campaign, what can I say? It's Call of Duty. The expected twists are there, the shooting is there....With the exception of the boost jumps and wall running, there's really nothing new added to the game. Then again, with the fact they're putting out a new game every year (every 3 per developing studio), that's not really surprising.

Ethan was an alright character, but as far as the characters on a whole, it really didn't jump out and say "ooh I must care about what happens to them", more like "well, I know you're going to die.

Great that they can make these games look pretty, given they're given 3 years to work on them, so now how about working on, I don't know, maybe giving them some depth? More character development other than "Hey, I'm here, care about me so when I die you might be affected by it"?

Maybe in a minority on this, but I play most the games I do because I want to be entertained, and try and follow the story, and I wasn't bored to tears by it, but it's probably not one I'm going to go back to try and do all the side missions on it. Probably won't even go back and play it again at all.

The only reason I even got this was because I wanted MW Remastered, got it on sale, and managed to trade some things in so didn't even have to pay the full sale price, either, and even then it was barely worth the price of admission.

But, I've only played theses since the original Modern Warfare, so what do I know? Somehow, despite myself, even catching them onsale, I've still managed to acquire every CoD game since then.

Only reason I'm putting recommended is because I can't do an in between, and as far as the actual game goes, it's not horrible, just not something I would rush out to play the day it came out (which I haven't done with a Call of Duty game in many, many years).
