A fantastic retro spoof that, at only half an hour long, knows to end before it outstays its welcome. We've had to wait a long time for it, and I hope the sequel (there has to be one) comes a lot sooner. The action scenes are fantastic, and the lighting and colour palette work nicely with the CG gore.

Oh, if there were any justice in the world, David Hasselhoff's True Survivor, played over the end credits, would be storming up the charts. It's a legitimately great song (none of this irony nonsense), the best track he's ever performed.

It's always been a bit pay-to-win, but the devs/publishers (delete as appropriate) have gone straight down the cash grab route. I enjoy the game, but I've now had enough.

Loved Oath in Felghana, but the "bump" system just doesn't do it for me here. A version of this with hack and slash I'd be really happy with.

It's Puzzle Quest, so I want to like it, but it just isn't much fun. The match-three gameplay is ruined by the board and its multiple directions. As is usual for a PQ game, the AI gives itself way more cascades of multi-combos than you get, but the board format makes these even more devastating. Getting one-shotted isn't fun.

Played it to death on both the 360 and PS3. Craptastic boss battles aside, it's one of the best games in recent years.

Dialogue's a bit disjointed, but a fantastic game regardless.
