Honestly, the only game from this pack i really enjoyed was Job Job
But Job Job is SO good that i still think this pack is worth it just for that

This game is amazing. Great netplay, great options for labbing, probably the single best fighting game currently out in terms of quality of life features, fun characterss, and surprisingly easy to get into despite the high skill ceiling.

So i bought this just expecting a port, because it was dirt cheap and i wanted to throw in some cents to support SNK. But this is actually a very substantial rebalance of the game, to the point it's really no exaggeration to say it's an entirely new game altogether. My previously mid-tier at best team is now all high-tier!
To top it off, the original vanilla '98 game is included as well (though no netplay for it, go back to Fightcade if you want that).
Wish this had used GGPO though, because while i think i like UMFE as a game more than vanilla '98, the latter is still smoother to play online since Fightcade has rollback and this doesn't.

It's got great digimon variety, an engaging battle system, surprisingly good graphics for what was originally a vita game, and the optimization seems pretty good so far in my experience. I can't speak for Hacker's Memory's plot as i'm going to clear the base Cyber Sleuth game first, but so far the main cast is all very likeable and the story's intriguing. To top it off, the mechanics are all very intuitive and transparent. You wanna know the statline for the digi you just got when it turns level 99? You can do that right away from the menu. It needs 120 ATK to evolve to whatevermon and you want to know at what level it'd get that exact ATK stat? just scroll through them levels.

I've heard this referred to as Steam's best monster-raising game as a replacement for Pokémon, but honestly, as a long time Pokémon fan, i liked this a lot better than most Pokémon games.
One of my biggest gripes with that franchise is that monster-raising RPGs, plotwise, really like the idea of letting you create close bonds with your monsters, sticking with them, etc etc, but then you get to the competitive level and you realize you basically have to play eugenics to make them anywhere near decent. Whoops, it was born with the wrong natures, throw it in the bin. When you finish those games, you have to throw your team in the trash and start over.
With this game, you have similar systems to Nature and EVs, but about halfway through the game, you start getting items that can revert their "EVs", or change their "Natures", so if you want to stick with the little dudes from your story playthrough, you can pretty simply just undo any stat gains you don't like so much and minmax them to your heart's content.
And to top it all off, the evolution system. By god, the evolution system. A thing i always liked about digimon (though some people dislike it, and i can see why) are the sprawling evolution trees. Thismon can become thatmon and also thatothermon, but thatothermon can also evolve from whatevermon or even whichevermon, etc etc. Well, Cyber Sleuth takes this to its logical conclusion. Through enough digivolving and unevolving, you can get from nearly any digimon to any other. And along the way, you can amass useful spells!
Many times have i made a digimon just to fill space in my digifarm, or to help with training (by converting and unconverting over and over again until i got one with a good nature to up the others' stats), and just sort of leveling them up to see what they can become and fill up my digimon list, when suddenly i realize "wait, i can turn this dude into that one digimon i really like!", and it's always a great feeling. Sometimes they even happen to have really fitting acquired stats (the EV-analogue i mentioned earlier) for the final digimon, which is always nice.

All in all, this game is amazing and i'm glad i finally get to play it. Here's the best part; as of writing, i have all this praise, and i'm not even halfway done with the game! I'm still going to start up Hacker's Memory once i beat the original Cyber Sleuth game!

Have you ever played Super Robot Wars? Do you spend far too much time getting mad at people on /m/ for having the wrong opinion? Do you get annoyed when people use blanket statements such as "Before Eva, all mecha anime was for kids" or "unlike other mecha anime, THIS ONE focuses on the characters"? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are this game's target demographic.
This is a game made by mecha fans, for mecha fans, and by god it shows. It's filled to the brim with small references and nods to the people in the know. Sadly, a lot of these get lost to the spotty translation, but funnily enough, if you're the kind of person to get those references, you can often actually tell the original intent. For example, early on a character refers to another as acting like "the Super Type", which sounds janky and weird in the context it's in, but most would be able to tell he's implying the character was acting like a Super Robot pilot, in contrast to the game's Real Robot setting, established (really heavyhandedly at that) at the end of the first mission.
The gameplay is a frenetic platform shooter (E.G. Megaman X on crack). I personally haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet, but i can easily tell there's a high skill ceiling here. You might think, during the first mission, that it's quite sluggish, but once the game starts for real you can very clearly feel the difference.
At points you can start to see the seams in the budget, as some animations in particular look a bit cheap, but even then it manages to fit the game's style, as they like using a lot of the same animation tricks that SRW does.
Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who's barely started the game as of writing, so perhaps it takes a nosedive later on (i'll be sure to update this review should something of the sort happen), but as of now, i'd say it works on charm alone to someone who enjoys mecha, and the gameplay seems deep enough to enthrall even someone who doesn't particularly care about the genre.

I wonder, if this game does well enough, could it eventually show up in Super Robot Wars? Now that'd be interesting.

Reignited my love for fighting games. A gorgeous 3 on 3 fighter by Arcsys that perfectly emulates the style of the DBZ anime. A must for any fans of tag team fighters or DBZ.

An incredible little Shoot Em Up, especially if you are a /m/an of good taste who enjoys his old-timey super robot shows.

You've got your honorable alien prince, who wants nothing more than a fair duel and runs away to fight you again in the next episode, your well developed five man team of pilots, who you can learn as much about as you want, the super cool moment where ALL THE WARRIORS combine forces to fight the Big Bad Evil Guy (even if in the end they don't help all that much and Grendiz- uuh, i mean Vulkaiser has to do all the hard work).

All in all, this is a very fun little game with a lot of replay value that any fans of old timey super robots and/or shmups should check out.

Do be warned though; it's brutally difficult. It'll take you a lot of time to git gud.

So, i bought this game as kind of a joke game, much like you'd buy a game like Bad Rats or Slaughtering Grounds.

But boy, was i surprised. As it turns out, this game is actually pretty well-written! There are some corny jokes and puns here and there, but most of the jokes are pretty good! Even when the game is getting more serious, it still manages to be pretty good. There are moments in this game that will actually make you cry, at which point you will notice that you are crying at a pigeon dating sim, and will probably start to question your life choices up until now. This game is THAT good.

There are six main love interests (three of which have secret complete endings that can only be achieved after clearing their routes at least once), two extra secret love interests, and a final secret route: BBL.

"Bad Boys' Love", also known as "Hateful Boyfriend" or "Hurtful Boyfriend", is pretty much the "endgame" of this game. You can enter this route before getting all other endings, but i would not recommend doing so. If you clear all other endings beforehand, you get an extra post-credits scene.
Now, about BBL's plot itself. I can't tell you much, because of spoilers, but i can say this: it's a murder mystery.

Now, you might be thinking "oh, okay, it's a murder mystery parody, right?"
To which i will reply: "NO."
For, you see, this is actually taken completely serious. And you might think that this is when the game gets sucky, but no, this is THE BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE GAME. It's full of expertly done plot twists, that will make you play through the game again and go "oh my god, the devs of this pigeon dating sim had planned it all out, ALL ALONG!".

By all means, you MUST get this game if you like VNs. It's much more than you'd expect from looking at its Steam page.
