Changing my initial review, the TLDR version was that the community is toxic, I still feel that this is true and more can be done to better the community. However, the game itself is a lot of fun and purely skill based. Once you get to the higher rankings the toxicity dies down a bit too.

Game has some real potential. If you buy it now keep in mind it's very much alpha. A lot of features are not fleshed out, however, this game plays unlike any other extraction shooter. You're not the hero, you're a scavenger just trying to survive and grab loot. The fact that the AI treats you no differently than the opposing faction its awesome.

It's kind of like dwarf fortress with less emphasis on world building and more of a world conquest vibe. Good stuff, dev constantly improving.

If you like sheer destruction and constant action, this is the game for you. Fantastic.

Fun Dwarf Fortress Adventure mode inspired rougelite. Dev is still fleshing out some of the main features, but overall this game is a lot of fun.

Great representation of the Starship Troopers world as seen in the movies. Lots of bugs (alien bugs lol), lots of gore and a whole lotta ammo sent down range. Don't expect a super tactical squad based game here. That's not what the movies are are it's not what this game is. What you can expect is the sheer excitement of seeing wave after wave of bugs getting mowed down by your team. Fun game, needs some optimization and some new content but that is expected in early access. Excited to see whats to come.

Terrible. Better graphics, yes. Useless AI? Yes. Unlimited loading screens? Yes.

I've been playing Puzzle Pirates for years. I stopped when the population dropped but now I'm hyped for this new ocean! Population is growing everyday and there's always pillaging to be had!

The puzzles inside the game are unique and fun to play and the community is one of the best I've ever seen in any online game! Hop in and try it out for yourself. See you in game matey!
