This is probably the most drag and tedious experience I have ever had.
This game is a kinda good story but not amazing being held back by poor combat and level design with exceptionally slow pacing.

Fun til you don't care about the wolf game anymore and you just want to see the ending but the game just won't freaking trigger the events and waste your time.

And the ending is short and shallow instead of a deep ending with more explanation that I was expecting for a VN.

Apart from the wow factor and the unique gory art style that you rarely see in video games, this game is overall poorly designed. The combat is tedious. The level design is kind of bad. I don't feel like experience new stuffs walking around except when the game tries to present new gory scenes to you.

I cannot recommend the game in its current state.
1. No control remapping
2. Progression on only the host when playing in parties
3. The game stucks at loading screen of multiple levels when playing in a 4 man party(game breaking)
4. No options to switch starting location when there are quite a few levels that isolate players in two sides.(Unless you quit the game, quit the party and join party with a different order...)

A good game but not as twisted and great as everyone says. I feel like the game revolves on the mini-games too much to the point it gets very repetitive while it couldve done much more on its story telling and made players really feel wow about the "breaking the game" part. Having played Rabbit Rush before, Rabbit Rush did a much better job at "breaking the game", giving feeling of suspense and surprising players. The mini-game in Rabbit Rush is also very fun that it can almost be released as a standalone game unlike Pony Island, which is just a poor designed game, and there is nothing wrong with that if the game doesnt revolve around it, but sadly it does.

That said, It is still a very unique game though for the people who havent played Rabbit Rush before (Which I think would be 99.9% of people who will see this comment) so I'd definitely recommend this game but when comparing both games, the fact that Rabbit Rush, as a university students project and a completely free game, did a much better job at almost everything than Pony Island just makes me feel meh about Pony Island.
