I was walking in the city of Valencia, California, when all of a sudden a man pulled up next to me. The man pulled down his sunglasses and looked me in the eyes. He said "Put the pedal to the metal." and sped off going at least 100 miles per hour. I watched as he failed to turn and crashed into a concrete lamppost and two trees. The car immediately caught on fire, and neither of the men emerged from the accident.

From that day on, I truly knew that the pedal was to the metal.
