Quite possible the most fun I have ever had playing a game. Good, honest, chaotic fun.

I think Colossal Order had massive plans for CS:2. Those plans were so ambitious, they weren't achievable for the initial launch. That launch wasn't great. You know that, I know that, and they know that.

However...

That ambition will pay off. CS:2 has solid foundations, is great fun to play, and is considerably better as an engine than CS:I.

As a fan of city builders since SimCity 2000, we need our city builders to be ambitious and to think bigger than we can imagine.

Cities Skylines 2 is what we need. It is already getting considerably better. It is pretty fun now, and in a year, or two years, it will be absolutely mind blowing.

Thank you Colossal Order. CS2 is the ambitious city builder we need. I'm 41 now, and the 16 year old in me is incredibly grateful for what you are doing.

It's just immensely fun.

Throw Warcraft, Slay the Spire, Magic the Gathering, and Chess in to a pot. Leave to simmer, then enjoy for many many hours.

One of my favourite games of all-time.

The lack of tutorial and guide is refreshing. You are rewarded for your curiosity, and there is plenty to be curious about.

The games engine is brilliantly consistent in terms of physics, and beautifully random in terms of events. No two games are the same.

The care and detail put into the world makes it seem real, despite seeming rudimentary in terms of graphics. The sounds enhances the experience further, and the music takes it to another level.

Noita is a masterpiece, and if I could only play one game for the rest of my life, it would be Noita.

Regardless of how it compares to other ARPGs, this game IS FUN.
I've always loved the Torchlight series, and while this one does take a bit of a side-step, it still feels like the other games.
If you are after a fun, cosy and warm ARPG, with a decent amount of variety and depth, this is the game for you.

Blowing stuff up as the Forged class is pure gaming gold, give it a go.
