Used to be great, then they took away modding support and charge way too much for a simple character. Go download and support Mate Engine. It allows loading custom VRM, has more options and animations, mod support and it's way better optimized!

Sometimes little things get broken with some patches and take awhile to get fixed, but damn this game is still a lot of fun and very satisfying to play. Defending democracy with extreme force and firepower is best enjoyed with some friends. I love it.

Early Access Review
2023 Update: It's been over a year since EAC and it didn't hurt VRChat at all. In hindsight VRChat has improved significantly in the past year. Sure I miss a few things that mods brought but overall I continue to love and support this platform. Like any application, it could forever use further refinements and polish, but It still has the best UI, largest community, the most things to see and do and of course one the best places to meet and hang out with great friends. As I get older I find it has become my social life most evenings, especially in the post-pandemic era. Like many I've invested a little to improve my VR lifestyle and experience so I'm committed at this point. I look forward to see where VRChat is headed in the next 2-3 years and hope it'll evolve and improve. Everyone talks about the "metaverse" but VRChat is that metaverse and it's already been here for years.

---------------------
Best experienced in PC VR (yea I know right...). It's been almost a year and there rarely has been a week go by that I haven't jumped on VRChat for hours of exploration, socializing and enjoyment. I started out playing through Oculus PC before switching to Steam. Playing VRChat drove me to learn and hobby around in Unity so I was able to upload some custom avatars and work on crafting worlds. Most importantly I've made some truly awesome friends in VRChat that I am most thankful for.

As an old Sega Genesis Sonic fan who spent his afternoons in the 90s after school playing through Sonic 2 and later Sonic 3+K, this game is an absolute treat. It's fantastic 2D sprite action, albeit challenging and at times frustrating, but also very rewarding when you finally beat a level. After nearly 30 years, I couldn't believe how many things I still found familiar and fun in comparison to those Genesis games in addition to several new mechanics and memorable zones. Even the soundtrack, although not as good as Sonic 3, has some catchy riffs. I finally finished my first Sonic+Tails play-through today after about 15 hours and I may at some point go back and play as Knuckles for the Sonic 3+K nostalgia trip.

I never cared much for Sonic in 3D or any of the various 3D Sonic games that Sega released years following the Genesis. I tried a few of them in passing but none of them ever clicked. Some of them were so bad that it nearly killed Sonic as a memorable video game character alongside dozens of other unnecessary and forgettable characters they've tried to cram into the franchise.

I'm glad Sonic Mania keeps it simple and retro. The way a Sonic game SHOULD BE. Thank you Sega for this.

Possibly one of the most fun zombie co-op shooters since Left 4 Dead.

Wow... 7 years later and I still love this game. I would have gladly paid for this, but it's really nice that it's free to play and with plenty of content. Finally adding to the original Alien Swarm, Reactive Drop contains the original campaign as well as numerous other bonus campaigns, support for 8 players and Steam Workshop suppport. Highly recommended to play with many friends.

I recommend Star Trek ONLY IF you play co-op with a friend, otherwise DON'T BOTHER. We've all seen the videos of the horrible bugs and glitches with single player in this game. Playing co-op has a few bugs too, but at least playing with a friend is a far better experience than playing with a moron A.I. and the bugs weren't make-or-break the game. An occassional freeze or got stuck in a turbolift. I played this around launch, so I don't know if the experience has improved since debut.

My friend and I played this together and beat the game on normal. Both of us are Star Trek fans, and enjoyed the game overall. A few missions were frustrating or a bit difficult to figure out. The story is OK if you like the JJ Abrams' Star Trek. It's not the greatest tale ever told, but it's decent for Star Trek filler. Graphics are good and the character/voice-acting is superb; funny too. It's a game that does feel like an extension to the movie because it's actually a good "movie". I'd almost rather forget the game parts and just watch the cut-scenes.

So some of the downsides: the combat is a basic third-person shooter with cover tactic. The enemy A.I. is rather dumb too. The upgrades don't really help you too much. Many of the mission objectives are kind of repetitive... go here, activate this, etc. The teamwork stuff is very simple (open a door, lift one another up, etc.), and some of the more interesting game mechanics ought to have been used for more than just for a single mission. Oh and yeah, those sometimes annoying game glitches which should have been caught if properly game tested.

Like I said, play it with a friend together. It's a mostly enjoyable experience if you don't mind a bit of easy gameplay and minor frustration. DO NOT buy if you intend to play single player only.

If you like Star Trek, you might like this game. The story episodes are fascinating if you're into Star Trek lore and are probably some of the strongest points. I boot this up every so often when new content arrives because I like the Star Trek extended universe, however there's not much else here to make this a viable, long-term MMO experience for me.

Serious Sam is hilarious for about 30 minutes. Then he will make you chuckle here and there, but soon you'll groan at the jokes and childish humor. It's just a slightly tweaked Duke Nukem ripoff like the first two Serious Sam games. Despite the very stupid story and ending, the campaign is mildly fun to play with a few buddies if you're looking to kill time, but you'll beat it in less than 3 hours.

One of the best multiplayer experiences out there. Really fun zombie survival game. I only wish it had support for more than 4 players in the campaign and survival modes; perhaps by scaling the difficulty vs. the number of zombies and special infected. Left 8 Dead anyone? Anyways, maybe a third game will bring the massive multiplayer zombie mayhem I so desire. It would be glorious.
