I don't normally recommend games by this publisher often, but this is again one of the good-ish ones that they put together, its somewhat buggy and repetitive and I wouldn't say it's worth the £0.89 it's being sold for, but I enjoyed playing it somewhat and got this one too in a bundle for dirt cheap, literally pennies, so If you get it in a similar bundle it's worth a go! 4/10 overall!

They used to call this a 'Doom Knockoff or Doom-Like' until the FPS genre got its own path, and Duke Nukem was one of the early ones along with Doom to enter the market or rather be like the pioneers. I really enjoyed playing through all 5 episodes, and the 5th episode being my favourite as it was made for the 20th anniversary edition, but also shows how much further they could push the engine for this final tribute to the game. In my opinion, there's clearly much love been put into developing this game, and it really comes through when you play the game, and even in todays day and age that sort of love is lacking in development a lot of the time.

9/10 for this 20th anniversary edition, highly recommended to all who love FPS games.

One of the first games I ever played was POP Sands of TIme and then played the trilogy also on the PS2, and I was a die hard fan. I remember clearly when they rebooted the series and I just hated it and that period of 2008 seemed to be when Ubisoft started to really go downhill. Prince of Persia : The Forgotten Sands, I never got to play it when it came out until recently, but after completing it, it surely seems like Ubisoft's desperate clutch to not let this hit of a franchise of theirs die through their mistakes, and partially this had been fulfilled by bringing back the original Prince and The Original Voice Actor too, unfortunately the PC version hasn't been updated at all, running on version 1.0.0 (which is a contradiction to my former comment), thus there are quite a few bugs that can prevent you from being able to play properly, for example, when you get knocked down by a powerful monster, instead of getting up, Prince glitches and stays on the ground until the game decides for him to get back up, sometimes only getting back up when another monster hits him, which made it really frustrating especially on the last boss fight and this was the reason I failed to kill the boss many times before succeeding. Other than that I did enjoy playing through the game and although the story was short, it was enjoyable, but again you can really see the lack of proper effort in the story as of compared to their glory days, you'll see this especially towards the end. It's a shame they don't continue this franchise the proper way and invest into what made them great and maybe that could turn them around instead of just sacking people and cancelling projects i.e. POP Sands of TIme Remake. PS: Don't forget to run in compatibility mode for windows 7 or it will just not boot! PSS: Also limit the game to the refresh rate of your monitor using MSI Afterburner on modern systems, as its poorly optimised for new systems and doesn't utilise all the cores/threads of the CPU properly, and you will find the CPU getting really HOT while barely utilising the CPU! PSSS: I just hate that ubisoft launcher LOL

7/10 overall, I do recommend this to the trilogy fans, it's nice to hear the original prince once again.

Played this all the way to the end and out of a lot of the shovel-ware that comes out of handmade games, this is one of the good ones, I enjoyed playing it, not worth the price its being advertised for though, but it was fun playing and can play it with kids or family, I am recommending if you can get it for a cheap price in the pennies. So thumbs up for that reason.

a very disappointing game, very poorly put together, and a ridiculous price for it, couldn't even get past the second level as the jump height is so messed up, highly not recommended.

It's an alright game, something children could play too, plus there's quite a few features I didn't expect to see like power ups and other features, can imagine playing this again for a few minutes, so thumbs up for that.

Its runs and it works, plus it doesn't crash, very simple continuous game with no variation or levels or anything eles. Please don't waste your money on this one.

Right so, I tried to complete this game but got stuck on the 6th level, it was just really hard, it's not a simple 'put two defenders on the left with a slow tower, and 1 of each on the right' to complete a level, it might work on level 1 but is certainly not the case later on in the game. It's like puzzle, depending on how you place those specific defence mechanisms will result in whether you survive the waves of enemies. I actually found it quite fun, and it kind of sucked me in. I will be recommending this game, although I didn't pay 0.89p for it, but to be honest, it's not a bad game and I don't see that being money wasted too much as you will get a few hours out of it the very least.

I was going to rate this gate up as the graphics were kinda cute and I was kind of enjoying playing through the levels, but there's no way to finish the game as when you get to level 9, none of the clam shells required are loaded in this level, meaning you cannot progress up to level 10-15; In addition, the price is at the very least absolute cash grab or at the very worst a scam, it's not worth the money at all for sure, you're better off going online and searching for the red beard miniclip game, as that game is free and is coded miles better and is a much better experience than this attempt of creating a macromedia flash sort of game.

So I actually enjoyed playing this game, played through all 31 levels without taking a break, and it took a while, but it was quite fun and also annoying/frustrating on certain levels but it's finish-able and and It was one of the good ones out of the shovel-ware key bundles. My wife even had a go and got into it too, so it's a thumbs up for me for that experience and the retro graphics were kind of cute in this one, plus it has achievements which is nice and not common with these sort of games from bundles.

Otherwise as you can see from the other comments it's most likely an asset flip, but imo at least you can somewhat enjoy this one, please don't buy at full price.
