I'm pretty sure the british tried to retake the american colonies after the boston tea party

The british empire is the reason why our world is terrible. Point. They failed to retake the USA. They enslaved and killed millions. And only because of 2 world wars the british empire collapsed which shows that the british empire would have never have allowed his colonies to gain independence. But sadly I can't argue about more of this. I'm not very well in british history from before 1900 exept for his colonies around the world.
