DRG is a game that I've yet to grow tired of after 913 hours of playing as of writing. Sure, I've had some off days where I've gone without playing the game for a couple months, primarily when my usual friend group is disbanded for the season due to school or work or whatever other reasons. No matter what though, getting on Deep Rock Galactic with a couple friends has always been a great time, and one of the primary reasons I come back.

On top of high replayability due to the various biomes, missions, and mission modifiers that make no mission the same, DRG is one of the few games I've played where you have the most freedom over your build that the game will allow. There isn't any *real* meta, as any choice of upgrades and overclocks is valid, which allows you to test out hundreds to potentially thousands of weapon combinations to try out and see what works best for you.

Because this review is running a bit long, overall, DRG is worth the price point no matter what it's at. Base price, 10%, 50%-- if you have a couple friends, Deep Rock is great to pass time on and you wont even realize you've sunk a few hundred hours into it. I'd say the game is genuinely that good, and even if you don't have any friends with Deep Rock, public lobbies have always been friendly and the community is very active and understanding from what I've experienced.

Rock and stone, buy the game.

Upon release Seeks of the Storm actively annihilated any semblance of fun in the game. Everything was a broken mess, the items were unbalanced or just straight up better off as scrap, and the survivors were lackluster at best. Since then, the developers have addressed all of these issues, and I feel it's only right for me to change this review into a positive one. The DLC itself is alright, nothing too special, but the game feels incomplete without it. I'd buy it if it's on sale if I were you.
