The campaign has a variety of mission types, all hand-crafted, and offers several difficulty levels. You'll need to execute your plans for your colony as flawlessly as possible, because there's billions out there, and just one infiltrating your defenses can spell utter disaster for you. Time is also always limited and of the essence, so you'll need to make sure your plans can unfold in a certain amount of time.

The game encourages a very aggressive play style, requiring you to constantly concentrate on building up your colony's defenses while also constantly on expanding your colony's territory in order to obtain new resources for faster production before even larger hordes come knocking at your door. In survival mode, every straggler you leave alive on the map will also come charging at you when the final horde approaches, so expanding to the edges of the map to clear it out will be vital to your success.

They Are Billions takes the zombie theme to create a truly unique and challenging game that many RTS fans should love.
