End game is busted, and the devs seem to only make it worse. People are mad because this premise has potential, but feels like the people in charge don't want it to succeed.

The puzzles and story telling in this game are tremendous. As far as story, you're being lead along by recorded logs and a narrator, and it feels extremely real and almost cozy learning all the story beats. As for the puzzles, there's one basic principle; You're a little robot man with a tether, wrap yourself around things and exit the room. It sounds simple, but the game manages to give you many new puzzle styles that it never feels stale. Until...the ending. The final puzzles of the game are galaxy brain puzzles that only friggin Magnus Carlson could 4D chess the solution of, and they're permutations of puzzle systems you've seen before. It feels like a huge hurdle to put right before the ending of the story of the game. If they were bonus levels or B-sides I'd feel better about it, but having to beat them to see the conclusion is a bit harsh. Finally, and mild spoilers ahead, once you do beat those quantum entanglement thesis puzzles, the story wrap up is a bit light. It's an ending everyone can debate ad nausem, but it's unsatisfying that a lot of the extremely cool mystery that's brought up throughout your time on the alabaster is for naught. Luckily, the puzzles and journey up to the ending are more than great enough that this is an easy recommendation to anyone who enjoys puzzle games.

Very fun who-dunnit where you're the one who-dunnit. You don't know what you dun did, but apparently you dun did it. The creepy undertone and mystery throughout keep you going and make you want to see the end, and luckily that ending doesn't suck. Very fun 4-5 hours.
