Then it comes to plot, its great, I love it. Discover if for yourself and when you fail go watch some lore videos. Worth it.
The Gameplay:
Good:
The game is fun and engaging, maybe a bit different than DS1 or DS3, but than again there a lot different SoulsLike now(2026) so it's good to view it as an experiment, or different take on Dark Souls.
Locations are sometimes breathtaking, bosses are fun to fight, weapons and armor are cool.
Movement and exploration are an improvement on DS1 mechanicaly and visually in some cases.
Summoning a friend is so much easier.

Bad:
There's a lot.
Broken Mechanics like shield giving you bonus to stamina regen that is neglected by it's own weight.
Or hitboxes that are sometimes atrocious and usually not in your favor.
The dodge is broken before you invest in a stat that fixes it to DS1 level.
The limited use item, needed to open some crucial paths or just used to get a lot of cool stuff but you don't know were there's something and where there's nothing and you wasted your chance.

But the game is fun, and worthy of giving it a chance...even if it's evil on design level

Very relaxing. As a person working on a computer, I get the sense of satisfaction from seeing my work being done more visually. Also, lets me catch up on podcasts. Highly recommend
