There are some things in the world that, though they're small and ultimately rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things, can truly be called 'special'. Just as FWB, fittingly enough, is one of these things, so is FWB2.

It has been 4 years and 5 months since I played a pony story that has had me this invested and connected to the characters and the course of events. I was ecstatic to see this was in production long ago after reading twisteds comments on community posts. It's been so long since I've read something that really stuck with me so much, and I was afraid I would never experience something like it from this universe again.

What a brilliant story that I'm finding difficult to fully describe. What a simple yet fascinating premise. What an innovative spin on an, admittedly, tired old trope that's been done a thousand times over. What a skillful mastery of 'show, don't tell'.

...Friendship With Benefits.

I'm going to remember this one for years to come. When I'm old and can only remember the five or ten best stories I ever read in my life, I know this will be one of them. You should be insanely proud of your work here, because it truly is something special.

This is why I am casting my vote for it across the board: for the Sit Back and Relax Award, Best Game on Steam Deck, Outstanding Visual Style, Most Innovative Gameplay, and Outstanding Story-Rich Game. Ultimately, it is my undeniable choice for Game of the Year.
