It's evolved for years and only keeps getting better. Best roquelite FPS there is folks.

Take the new Doom innovations and apply them to a retro Duke Nukem 3D style engine (although modernized). It does feel like it could use some minor tuning, and the game engine glitches sometimes. However, it's been fully playable and feels right for the price. Honestly I'd pay for a DLC that added some kind of RPG/ability mechanic to add more gameplay depth.

Short review from someone that played SC2 & SC3: it's good. However, it feels the game was released too early... maybe by a couple months. Personally I plan to stop playing for awhile until updates come out to address the issues the community has identified. Some of the issues include: random crashes, not being able to disable AI fleet control, auto pilot cannot be resumed on interruption, some planet textures/structures are pretty bad (really low quality), etc.
Wishlist: all character portraits when hailing should be animated, and Linux support would be amazing.

Great game, but it's very short... beat it in like 20 minutes.
