I’m about halfway through The Darkest Files, and honestly, it’s shaping up to be one of the best puzzle games I’ve played in a long time. What really stands out is how grounded it feels — it’s not just another mystery game. The developers have clearly done their homework, pulling in historically accurate details and even adapting real post-war cases (with some changes for obvious legal reasons). That extra layer of authenticity makes the whole experience so much more gripping.

The ex-Nazi and post-war setting in particular gives the game a real hard-hitting edge. You’re not just solving abstract puzzles — you’re diving into stories and crimes that feel heavy, real, and deeply human. That backdrop makes every decision, every piece of evidence, and every interrogation feel weightier, which only adds to the immersion.

I’ve been playing on the hardest difficulty, and it genuinely makes you feel like you’re stepping into the role of a prosecutor, piecing together evidence and arguments under real pressure. It’s tense, challenging, and incredibly rewarding when everything clicks into place.

If I had to point out one downside, it’s that the game feels a little too short — and that’s only because I’m enjoying it so much that I don’t want it to end. Still, even with its length, it’s shaping up to be an outstanding puzzle game and one I’d recommend to anyone who loves a smart, well-crafted challenge.

Yakuza: Infinite Wealth was the game that really pulled me deep into the series! I’d already played Yakuza 0 and loved the real estate mini-game, but something still wasn’t fully clicking. Then Infinite Wealth dropped, and with all those insane reviews I thought, alright, let’s see what the fuss is about. Honestly? It’s probably my favourite Yakuza game to date.

The turn-based combat, while different from the others, feels incredible — every move is tactical, fun, and rewarding to plan out. The story is powerful, full of moments that genuinely hit me hard (I even cried at a few points), and the mini-games? Doubled down, bigger, better, and more fun than ever.

That’s what I love about this series — the Yakuza games are unapologetically the most “video game” games out there, packed with heart, chaos, and style. And I’ll never get tired of them.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is one of the wildest rides in the whole series. Sure, it’s only about 14 hours, but every moment hits hard—the setting is stunning, the combat is pure chaos, and you actually get to witness the dissolution of the yakuza while wrapping up Kiryu’s story in the most powerful way. I’ll always say play all the Yakuza games, but this one? This one shines brighter than the rest.

As soon as Mafia: Old Country was announced, I was intrigued—you rarely get to see this side of the Mafia story. This time, there’s no America—just the raw, authentic Italian Mafia experience—and it delivers. The knife fight sequences are intense, the story is stunning, and every moment feels real and grounded. Nothing feels out of place.

Some of the stealth sections were a bit on the easy side, and driving in simulation mode could be almost uncontrollable at times, but the gripping story and tight, linear structure gave it that classic Mafia feel with a modern polish. I truly hope the franchise continues—whether it stays in Italy or returns to America—and maybe next time lets us step into the shoes of a full-fledged Mafia boss.

Lost Judgment is absolutely incredible. It blends the intense, satisfying combat the Like a Dragon series is known for with a more hands-on, street-level take on the investigative storytelling you'd find in something like Ace Attorney. The result is a gripping, dark narrative packed with brutal fight sequences and emotional weight. RGG Studio just knows how to deliver—there’s a unique itch their games scratch that no one else quite manages. No matter what they release, I’m always on board.

Honestly don't really know where to start with this game. As a game everything about it was just fun. The game's story expands over 7 chapters but all the gameplay feels fresh each chapter, switching up certain elements to make everything just feel fun and make you want to keep playing to see how they might innovate more.

As for story. It's an incredible dystopian world with a strange but enjoyable commentary on reality TV and thought of people being trapped in a truman show like world. Where one person find out the truth and becomes the star... but the way it progresses and doesn't ever feel like it gets too long is just incredible. I bought this after finding it randomly on the steam front page. I'm soo pleased I did.

Absolutely amazing game, where the company has saves resources with texturing, they've made up for in lighting and scenery. Insane gameplay with constant reasons to come back. Especially since the game is in early access there is always gonna be some sort of improvement to the game. 10/10
