This is a beautiful game where lots of people run around very confidently while I press random buttons and hope something cool happens. And honestly? It usually does. I see explosions everywhere and I assume that means I’m doing great.

The world is huge, the story is also huge and every NPC talks like I’m supposed to remember them (Spoiler: I don’t). Combat feels amazing though, mostly because even when I don’t know what I’m doing, the game makes me look like a professional demon-slayer with commitment issues. There are also about 700 menus, currencies and numbers and I don’t know what any of them mean, I just click the shiny thing on the monitor and move on with my life.

Short story short: Lost Ark is perfect if you love pretty graphics, big attacks and pretending you understand what’s happening (I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m having fun so that’s a win).
