Ruined the game. Used to be good, had sooooo much potential, only to be ruined and seemingly abandoned for pc.

I am a huge fan of the just cause series, and I loved the second and third game. However, this game is not like those games. Sure it may have the parachute, the wingsuit, and gas tanks, but it is very much not the just cause experience I am accustomed to. Not to say that is a bad thing, but all of this combined with all the big and small flaws, it makes it hard to recommend.

First things first:
- When attempting to conquer a region, there is no checklist of things to destroy, so far it has just been doing some tedious task (sometimes timed) going back and forth doing who knows what with no time to cause havoc in the base.
- The graphics in cutscenes are just plain garbage. The main villain looks like he's made of decade-old playdoe. Also, hair looks like complete poo.
- Menus are hard to use, but this is nothing new to just cause.
- Driving is a little better but still not great. They get a pass for at least improving from the hell driving of JC3.
- This could just be me but it feels like there are a lot less breakable things in the map this time around. Especially the concrete sniper towers, which used to at least have the top blown off if an RPG was used (JC3), but now nothing happens.
- Overall the game feels very unfinished, a lot of small problems that build up to me giving this a thumbs down.

Second things Second:
With just cause going to this more mission-based conquering system (which I am not saying is a bad thing), it seems like I run out of ammo faster than previous games, and have to conserve it. So even if I wanted to blow stuff up, it becomes increasingly difficult to do the mission and have fun at the same time. This is just how it feels to me and could be a number of things like enemy health, number of enemies, etc.

Finally:
If they fix a lot of the current problems with ease of use, graphics, and all the small issues that improve the feel of the game, I will happily change my review.

This game is by far one of my favorite games. I basically binge-played through this whole thing and its dlc. Love it.

Quite possibly my favorite game. Simple concept with some rather advanced mechanics make this game a blast to learn and play. Would definitely recommend.

Stupidly entertaining and the perfect amount of difficulty. Great to play on the couch with friends.
