My mate says he once told the developer the frog eating animation made it look like a game for weirdos. Anyway I've bought the game and he hasn't so I'm telling everyone so you can laugh at him. Also the game's great, the puzzles are challenging and well-paced, and the fairies have a ton of personality and I love them very very much

I'm completely out of touch with this kind of game, so let me sum up my first hour of gameplay:

- Spent five minutes not actually playing the game, because I had tabbed out to read the readme.
- Spent five minutes watching the intro cutscenes.
- Spent ten minutes trying to get the game to run in 1280x720 windowed mode, then gave up.
- Spent ten minutes creating a character who I christened "Redshirt".
- Spent zero seconds checking the game's controls.
- Spent five minutes walking really slowly out of a cave, being chased by rats.
- Spent five minutes looking around the first town and finding info on two more settlements.
- Spent five minutes trying to get down to one of the settlements, constantly running into random encounters.
- Spent ten minutes walking around the other settlement, not really knowing what to do.
- Spent zero seconds saving my game.
- Spent five minutes wondering why I had suddenly been slaughtered with no chance to escape.
- Spent the whole hour trying to work out the controls.

Overall, a timeless classic. 10/10.

On a serious note, other than the crashes I keep getting at the worst possible times, I very much recommend this game for anyone looking for a challenge, although you may wish to play the original first, as this version is even more overwhelming and has much more difficult achievements too. Plus it's dirt-cheap so why not.
