queue simulator, runs like trash. won my first game on so it isn't a skill issue or anything. dropped 20+ kills. won a game and got zero in-game currency. did the match even count? it was sorta fun i guess. don't see myself playing this daily though.

ignore the negative reviews. this DLC is absolute heat. the demon prince returning for day 2 was absolute cinema. the new boss "the balancers" are awesome. the new map is confusing as hell, but that's fine with me. its a huge change of pace of knowing where everything is after 300 hours of gametime. also i don't see enough people mentioning that the old map got new POIs aswell. its not just the new shifting earth.

i haven't even played both new characters yet, but the one i have tried (and beat the first new nightlord with) the undertaker is super straight forward but fun to use. don't get me started on 3 undertakers in one expedition. stacking ults is super funny.

the returning dark souls bosses are nice and fighting mohg again is pure cinema.

SOTE weapons would definitely be nice. But not worth giving this DLC a negative review. I'm gonna keep playing it and enjoying new content in this game.

this game was never good. its hardly a fallout game at this point. its more akin to a modern looter shooter game than it is an actual role playing game. and now they're trying to charge you $40 for decade old content and DLC that any free mod would do better from nexus mods. trash. bethesda has fallen so very far.

saying this game is like COD is probably the single dumbest complaint i've seen.

theres a few minor bugs like sometimes not being able to use my mouse in the deploy screen, but the game is freaking awesome.

taking down the servers and the ability to buy your game in one of the most beloved games in your franchise is such an incredibly stupid move. incredible game. negative review for poor business practices.

obviously there are ways to play online still using tools created by fans but its unbelievable that a company as large as EA couldn't keep the servers going.

if you were expecting this game to run at blistering framerates even when you meet the recommended specs and then some like i do, well... you're wrong.

i bit the bullet and just threw on FSR framegen and plugged a controller in to make the input delay manageable and honestly the game looks and runs fine enough.

i'm on a 3080 so DLSS framegen is out of the question for me but FSR framegen is fine enough i suppose. without framegen i can lock the game to 60 with DLSS quality at 1440p but the framegen suprisngly feels better. like i said i had to plug a controller in to make it fun to play because on mouse and keyboard it feels awful.

i think i'll stick with the game but it is a shame you can't expect a smooth experience without caveats. if there was a way to rate inbeween a negative and postive review that's what i'd go with.

it's a fine enough game but the devs left the multiplayer in a worse state than the launch version with a gnasher that behaves nothing like UE or the OG game. Why did they do this? Glad to see they're working overtime on this game... that's sarcasm by the way. What a pathetic excuse of a modern version of UE. No new skins. No new content. Just a straight port with a worse balance for the main weapon used in multiplayer.

I'd still buy this game but I leave it with a negative review because it's simply not enough for $40. I adore Gears so I'm a sucker that paid that much for it, but it really should have been no more than 20 bucks.


And like I said, its so lame of them to not update the game any further. This is really it? Whatever. Buy it if you love Gears. Don't if you're on the fence.

incredible game with an engrossing world and a timeless look to it all.

i first completed this game in 2014 on my xbox 360 and i'm finally doing another playthrough all these years later and it's still just as amazing as it was. there's a reason fromsoft is a staple name in gaming now and this is one of those reasons.
