If you don't already know Slay the Spire... It combines the best of videogames and boardgames. You have to build a deck of cards that grant you attacks, defense and skills with which you have to fight monsters and bosses to reach the top of the spire. Each game is about 30-60 min, perfect for a quick afternoon play. The developer put a lot of effort in creating character classes that feel new, based on typical archetypes. A wizard, which is a "broken" automata, a warrior with skills that weaken the enemy, an "assassin" that uses quick attacks and poison, and a "monk" which focuses on drawing a lot of cards and managing stances that grant them stronger attacks or energy for stronger rounds.

In addition, there is a daily run, where you compete against other players for the best score. Try to beat the others if you think you're good enough!

I totally recommend this game. It's given me dozens of hours of fun and it will continue to do so!
