This is by far one of the best and underrated games from the 90s. It's fully voice acted, you can die by jumping into the orchestra pit, the art while pixelated is beautiful and over all the game is VERY well made for a indie game. Don't even wait for a sale- this game is perfect. If you love mystery games or just are a phantom of the opera fanatic GET THIS GAME.

Do I recommend this game for persona fans? Yes. Do I recommend people start with this game over any other? Absolutely not. P5 is by far the worst entry to START with because it's the newest entry. It's very overwhelming and ambitious especially in the beginning and P5 fans tend to expect the same from the older entries and get disappointed. I started with P3F and P4G simulatenously and it worked out. Persona 5 IS a good game dont get me wrong but it does a lot. also i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate morgana

if you like danganropa, puzzle or adventure games, games that make you think, etc. THIS IS FOR YOUUU. please give this game (999 then vlr) a chance. please. it's so good, you just need to be patient. i love this game, so much 10/10 best game from spike chunsoft.

edit: this is persona 5 if the characters were more likable, who knew if you replaced morgana with a witty owl it'd improve the gameplay drastically. but subway slammer aside- i honestly prefer p5x's cast over the original persona 5's. granted i like persona 4 the most but this game isnt that bad really (ignore my playtime).
I'm a sucker for gacha games (granted never spent a dime on them) so might be a bit biased but P5X is really good. It's a bit sad that people are so against trying this because it's "gacha slop" but it's really not that bad. It's very consistent to the mainline games while still being it's own story. The original music is good, the art is amazing, and the new features are easy to grasp granted that's the case for any persona game tbf. Fyi it's really not that predatory- the 5 star rates are 0.8% (compared to genshin's 0.6%) and yet you can still use just about anything you get, the 3 stars are personas, and the 4-5 stars are actual characters or weapons. Even without the 5 star phantom thieves the game is still playable and enjoyable. Granted my opinion may change down the line but investing 17 hours into this 2 days after global launch says something don't you think?

this is a really good game with a good story however i hate the mink route because of the s/a :(. this game gets dark very easily so i'd recommend it only for those that won't be triggered by this sort of thing. koujaku and clear are my favorite characters
