I'm a big fan of the base game, so I really want to leave a positive review, but at this price point, I cannot recommend this DLC.

Like the other reviews mention, this DLC is very, very short. I played on a save where I had unlocked all of the movement abilities as a post-game activity. All in all, I've seen everything in about 2 hours of playtime. 2 hours, generously. Compared to the value proposition of the base game, which I spent roughly 40 hours in for 20 bucks, this DLC is dire.

The content itself is about as well done as the base game. I encountered no bugs during my time here. The puzzles are about the same ease as the base game. The challenge of the bosses and new cassette types is the same as the base game. There are a handful of new mobs here, but it certainly feels less than the advertised amount because these new monsters do evolve into other forms.

Overall, I think my general mood towards this DLC is buyer's remorse. I did want to support these devs going into this, so I was okay with buying full price. If more DLCs come out for this title, I will make sure to wait for a deep sale next time.
