This was great fun and makes for both a great beginner learning experience with a bunch of fun coding optimization challenges for

The game's python-like interpreter would be nicer if the game used real Python and wrapped its own functions as its own real python module import like the real deal. It would also open up much more and better programming opportunities such as classes and object oriented variable references. There are a lot of Python features missing from the game's python-like interpreter which after a while leaves a lot to be desired. I think the developer for this game should be able to easily implement real python and their game's own module for interfacing with the game world too. Real full python would be really nice.

There are some visual bugs here and there and the game's text editor has locked up on me a few times. Typing in a large script file causes the game to stutter and holding down a key makes it hang. The game's text editor could be better, a lot of typical features like its automatic indentation can be finicky and leaves a lot of whitespace padded lines around the place too. Navigating or deleting with ctrl + backspace/delete doesn't seem to be a thing either.

Allowing the use of an external editor and having the game automatically reload the file when the window focus returns would be nice, but that would probably distract from the experience more than aid it. The in game text editor should probably just be improved to keep things immersive.

Overall I had a lot of fun with this game but there's some work to do. Maybe things already improved ready for its 1.0 release in October?

Even in this early access state this game has proven to be great fun in both multiplayer and single player runs.

I've run into a few bugs here and there which are easily reported via the main menu linking to the team's Discord. They're quick to respond with reports of fixing any reported issues and pushing updates out for them which is great!

Overall great casual fun and a nice continuance of Noisestorm's Crab related works.

Excellent game packing loads of content and high quality spritework into a sub-300MB download.

The game is evidently based off the Wario Land franchise with the sprinting mechanic alone but rings so many bells from my childhood games such as Jazz Jackrabbit 2's menus, the immense level variety of Earthworm Jim and even what could've been some Command Keen references in those per-level purple item pickup rooms among many other links one could make.

While I've been made aware of how many fun unique levels I have ahead of me, I've been stuck on the first floor getting a Perfect score on every level lol. P'd the boss after beating the first level then realized it's possible to P them all so I've been fighting Bloodsauce Dungeon for a P for a good few days now! I keep getting so close then the timer sends me back to S-tier.

Overall, insanely enjoyable game especially given I have 12 hours of playtime and that's only from trying to get perfect scores on the ground floor. The game is insanely well made with some lovely tight controls and as I said earlier, beautiful sprite and artwork. This will easily be a staple platformer for years to come. Especially with how efficient the game runs.

Thanks Tour De Pizza.

Great game you can just dive into. Loving the OST as well, have had to stop Spotify multiple times to jam out. I'm very onboard thus far. Shoutout to Oneyplays.

Only been playing for a week or so but love the subtle story and map progression throughout playing. Glad there's a permanent upgrade menu on the main screen that you can buy into to help out in your runs too. Overall great experience.

Was curious about this one because I see steam avatars of it so frequently. Picked it up for about 80 cents and it's out the gate overflowing with cliches and some really bland worldbuilding and strangely forced cutscenes.

That music jumping floor pad section after you fall down was infuriating the way you can do everything right after executing that slow song for 2 minutes and it just *resets* on you like you did something wrong, back to the start for the fourth time.

In general the game seems to be focused on collecting different styled letters of the alphabet as achievements multiple times over, trying to cash in on people who want to spell out words on their profile or something. With those popups sometimes every second of gameplay I can't say it adds to the experience.

A fun experience with plenty of funny references and interesting mechanics to keep it interesting. Loved the endings too.

It was a little tedious grinding out the slide puzzle without the skip prompt to get that puzzle piece, I haven't done those since I was a kid! In general going back to hunt for puzzle pieces to complete the game and all minigames was a little tedious as the main story kept kicking in and interrupting with no option to go back and continue once the epilogue starts at the hotel. While that's how the game's supposed to go, once you've bet it a few times having to sit on these unskippable cutscenes (Even the "2 hours later" gag gets a little tiring after the fourth or fifth time) over and over again with no option to speed things up made for a few laps.

What can I say, its launch icon shared the desktop with Serious Sam as a kid and was super fun. Here I am playing it in 2022; right out of the box it works great with Proton, supports the widescreen monitor very well and doesn't seem to have any hitches at all. 10/10

Feels like a spiritual successor to Nebula Fighter (a game I played on DOS as a kid) which I loved heaps. The seeded roguelike approach works well for this shoot em' up format.

I had to pause to turn up the music my first run in the Demo and am often killed because I'm too busy enjoying the BGM lmao. Also love the adaptive music in the main menu.

Loving the experience thus far and I'd love to see this title succeed.
