Clicking the box that says I got it for free cause I used to only own ultimate doom but when ID cleaned up their steam store I was given this game :)

Anyways I think the 10$ price tag is well worth it! You get quite a few campaigns to play through and you get to experience where this great series started! Whats not to love?

I can't tell you to buy this game in good conscience until: A. an offline mode is added B. they fix the servers to handle the entire player base. I was lucky enough to play in the 3 day early access, and the game is GREAT but it sucks that only those with silver/gold or got on as soon as the game was available for the few hours that the servers were functional got to play at all. I'm writing this amidst this horrible launch and i'm just hoping that overkill/starbreeze does either of the solutions outlined above. (preferably the offline mode)
TLDR: great game shame no-one can play it.
Update: game is now playable but still requires a bit of patience to get past the matchmaking errors you WILL STILL GET but I still cannot recommend this game til they add an offline mode.

The game is amazingly poorly optimized as a VR experience. It is choppy and laggy causing me to get motion sick very quickly. Go buy Surgeon Simulator ER if you want a "Simulator" game.
