Early Access Review
I enjoyed playing this game, but the performance is pretty terrible (7800X3D, 2070 SUPER, Med 1440p), dropped to 20FPS in areas and that's with DSR upscaling.

Given that a lot of engagements could be over long ranges, using DSR isn't a great experience for long range visibility.

Ran into the thing where no helis were available also which is a bit frustrating.

That said, if the performance is improved I can see this being a fun game. One to watch but not one to play right now.

Campaign could've been one of the all time greats if not for the Warzone armour BS. The first mission sets the tone incredibly well as a grittier, more realistic game, then immediately ruins it the mission after with the addition of warzone plate armoured opponents. Feels like a cheap way of scaling difficulty/like I'm playing an RPG. Also the convoy mission should've never made it in.

Multiplayer is fun, if you enjoyed 2019 you'll probably enjoy this, pretty big lack of content when it comes to maps. Ground War maps aren't as enjoyable to play as the previous MW imo

Warzone 2 is much better than the original Warzone, Battle Royale is not personally my thing but I find this one playable at least. DMZ is a kinda fun addition but needs more work, it feels very shallow currently.

I really enjoyed the original. Parkour and combat felt weighty.

This one feels floaty and having me collect plants in the first 30 seconds of gameplay before I've even seen a zombie yet is a bit dull. Also no sprint button? The running feels incredibly slow.

Maybe with some more work this could be good, shame.

The game is a complete pay to win. Full of people with premium guns that vastly overpower the free players in every single way. There is no possible way to get a weapon when you just start out that will hold its own against the premiums.

It's a real shame. If the game removed ALL the pay to win rubbish, rebalanced the weapons and charged for the base game, it'd be brilliant. But sadly this is not the case because the devs are probably earning an unhealthy amount of money from the pay to win element.

I got this game 2 days ago, and put 7 hours into it on the first day, that's how much I enjoyed it to begin with. Then I started to see how I couldn't stand a chance.

The customisation element to the game is brilliant, truly brilliant. The character customisation allows you to customise every possible element.

The open world crime is also excellent fun, however the payouts are pitiful, with safes and PCs that look like full gaming rigs going for about $160, not anything near the $500+ things like this would typically cost.

I struggle to comprehend how people continue to play this game, most likely because they have put money in. But the game is simply not fun to play if you're not willing to pay money to get things.

With a graphics upgrade, and the points I specified earlier - rebalancing and becoming a game you play for, would make the game incredibly fun, and would fit in with today's gaming market.

But for now I'm going back to Saints Row, to enjoy a gaming experience that I don't have to pour money into.
