Hey man, I saw your Duet Night Abyss mod on Alien Swarm RD and I saw you made a guide about the game. I know this is a big thing to ask but can you do a guide for swapping character model with custom model like you did? I know the devs already posted a guide but that's mostly for people who already have experience in modding games. I spent most of my free time these past 2 week trying to learn how to do it but I'm hitting a brick wall.

Most of the time I watch video tutorials, when I need help in modding certain games like Elden Ring but there's no video tutorial for this game at all.

I released it, with my explaination on the matter, so while some parts might feel wrong, you do have to remember I am leaving the internet for a long while, for an issue out of my control it has. After all you are free to make a collection, but please do not use others people addons to make a addon that is a glorified pack without their direct...approval. So take a lesson from all of it, and hopefully you'll avoid problems with me or others.

Just do not appear in comments section of it, since while I do not have much against you, people might not feel the same. I already do not want anyone harassing you, me or others, so...collections are still safer than an addon.

I got an answer and while I cannot reupload my original fix, I am splitting it into 2 parts; an update and a new addon, and in meanwhile before I got this reply, I was struggling with mental issues, which I will explain in the new addon section.

As for you, I still noticed your "addon" has my content, namely special infected sounds I made, so while you can keep the "broken" models, you have to remove the sounds I made if you do not want me to have an issue with you again. You already know creators do not want old duplicates on workshop right, let alone something that competes with them using their work, a collection people can make on other hand has none such issues and automatically credits people on top of getting updates when the creator does.

Its always good when both parties come to a conslusion instead of mutual hatred, for it relieves the pain and coldness in my heart. I have my own issues, but willing to fight through those. Oh and right, I never called people to attack you, just stated my own view on this.

I have a similar modder to realize this, and well, they understood why I and plenty of people see this way, and...while I do not want you to remake it, I can make a collection instead, but only once I get a answer from steam support that the problem was kind of resolved. Oh and right, consider yourself clean from my then objections since you got my point this time.

I do not have a problem with you, I only had a problem with the fact my work was used without permission, for it is how modders operate in general - some are soft, some are more strict, but general rule is if a work contains some element of hard labor, like edited sounds, aniumations or the like, people will be of course more upset about it since they take plenty - in fact, people do not have an issue with collections, which are merely links to addons for combo packs, but if they pack them in a addon...then problems begin.

Heya! I'd love to use your L4D2 Combine Survivor mods for a project I'm working on, but in all three versions the Suppressor's viewmodel hands are messed up. Is it possible for you to fix this? There is no such game on booster creator at all since the game is both off steam but also just like "supposed" games doesn't actually have them implemented, you know like how HL1 has their art but not actually has them for I suppose artstyle reasons.
