The Resident Evil 4 Remake is by far my favorite game ever. It adds a new perspective and so much more depth to beloved characters in the franchise. The parallels between Leon, Ada, Wesker, Krauser and Luis as well as the downfall of Valdelobos are amazingly thought out. I'm a VERY big fan of the environmental storytelling and combat system aswell.

Thank you Capcom <3

This is the first game of this specific genre that I have played. Not only did I have A LOT of fun playing it, it inspired me to take up a new hobby (Dungeons and Dragons)

I've been waiting awhile to get my hands on this game, and gods was it worth it.
I could write essays about how much the companion's stories brought me to tears multiple times. ESPECIALLY Gale, Shadowheart and Astarion's story. They have truly grown dear to my heart. Larian really poured their heart into this game, and into our beloved characters.

Very immersive story, amazing characters, amazing development within their character arcs. It left me with a very somber feeling after finishing it. I haven't had this much fun in a game as I have in this one. What a wonderful game. I will probably base my entire personality around this game for the next three years.

Thank you, Larian Studios

I personally just didn't enjoy it. The way specifically sexual trauma was portrayed and dealt with weirded me out, especially some parts that were supposed to be "comedic relief"

you play as the voice inside of a girls head who struggles with multiple mental disorders like schizophrenia, depression etc. after her father commited suicide. Her mother asked her to buy a bag of milk. however due to her condition, the girl has trouble with this task, she has failed many times before. the girl is constantly on new medications which she mentions later on when she asks to have a chat with the reader (if you dont piss her off and end the game prematurely). Its not clear what exactly the reader is, reader could just be an imaginary friend thought up for coping reasons, or it could be that we exist due to her medication, or maybe even both.
This is the girls first time succeeding with the task her mother gave her of buying milk because of our instructions (this ofcourse if you dont end the game prematurely)

It is very obvious what dialog is considered "good" or "helpful" to achieve the only subjectively "good ending" there is, the game is simple and straightforward and it gives insight on multiple mental disorders, however for literally just 30 minutes of gameplay its very vague. The graphics are very pixelated and the color scheme is just red, brown, black and purple and it makes it unclear to what youre looking at at all times, which makes sense because the game is about a girl who lost her grasp on reality and is facing traumatic consequences.

This game is by far my favourite game ever. Despite recieving multiple spoilers before I even played the game, I didn't even take those into consideration while playing for the first 8 hours, because I couldn't believe them. Omori was just a cool fantasy game.

It stays simple and nothing really hits you at first, however the psychological aspects start to taunt you throughout the game. What at first was just a normal fantasy game where you have to save your missing friend, becomes a pretty shocking story about a boy who has trouble telling the difference between the world in his head, and the actual real world to which the reason why he can barely tell the difference hits you like a truck in the last few hours of the game.

Omori gives a very complex insight on mental illness and what it is capable of causing.
This game still leaves me in awe, and I love it.
