Alas, a fantastic game ruined by corporate greed.

I am doing my part by leaving a negative review to demonstrate that I will not bend to the anti-consumer practices imposed by SNOY.

They can't change the EULA AFTER I bought the game. Heck, I did not want to purchase this game because of the requirement for a PSN advertised in the store page. I only purchased after I found out that making a PSN account was optional. They even had the audacity to change the wording on the PSN from being optional to a requirement. That is disingenuous, malicious, and untrustworthy. I feel like they pulled the rug underneath my feet, and I am very upset.

Additionally, I refuse to make a PSN account and link it to my steam account. Doing so will be risking my steam account to be potentially compromised in one of their yearly data breaches. SNOY has demonstrated time and time again that they don't care about their customers, they just care about the bottom-line. So here is my message to you SNOY, go kick rocks because you lost every and all potential business from me and many that share this sentiment. You mongrels are the scum that is ruining gaming.

I will not be requesting a refund yet. I want to give them a chance to backpedal because I really love this game. However, if this requirement is not removed, I will be requesting a refund.

Edit: We won, we democratically convinced Sony to roll back their decision!

Playing on a meta quest 2 with virtual desktop.

Although the game delivers in its promise of being a pressure washer game, you can tell that this game was designed for meta quest 2 in mind. It is bare bones as it can be to be released in early access, and lacks many of the comfort features that most pcvr games have.

Don't get me wrong, the game is playable, and you can by all means zen out while cleaning. However, the game lacks many desirable and needed features to achieve a similar level of satisfaction as power wash simulator.

Here are some of the major gripes that I encountered:

-Movement is limited to physical movement and teleport. The developers really should consider allowing us move around freely rather than teleport only.
-There are no additional tools to help you reach over tall surfaces, leaving you no choice but to teleport on top of whatever object you are cleaning to reach over it.
-The upgrade system and menu options are abysmal.
-There are no additional nozzles other than the base 3 the game gives you, nor you have the ability to change the orientation of the nozzle. Being unable to change the orientation of the nozzle is not that big of a deal, as you can physically rotate your controller, but the option to rotate the "wide" nozzle from horizontal to vertical would be nice.
-Localization is ROUGH. You can tell the developers are not native English speakers, but that does not make the game incomprehensible.

Full disclosure, this last one is merely based on prejudice, and I hope I am wrong.

In the past, I've had plenty of negative experiences with promising games that fail to deliver. The most common factor among all of them are that they are taking something that already exists, and promising to improve it or make it accessible to a particular platform. Usually, these games come from Chinese developers who hope to turn a quick profit by creating a promising game, selling it for cheap, promising that they will improve/finish it, and then abandoning the project. It is a tale that sadly had become way too common nowadays, and I hope this developer does not follow the stereotype.

I don't expect much, but I hope that the devs don't abandon this game like many other unscrupulous Chinese companies.

The factory, must, grow.

FPS tanks regularly even on the lowest settings. Playing at 30 fps in a 144 kHz monitor dimishes my enjoyment of the game greatly.
