I wishlisted this back in 2022 because I had a Paper Mario itch. Years later I'm finally scratching it and it feels so good! This game is great! It's charming in its presentation and I am going absolutely WILD for the soundtrack. Truly worth the wait for me, and I recommend it heartily to anyone who might read this.

Not that this game needs another positive review...but I'll chip in my two cents and if you find it helpful, cool.

This game is hard. Some might even say unfair, but that's just not true. This game is beautiful, the soundscape is astounding, and the mechanics are TIGHT. I'll share a thought I had on a particularly long runback to a difficult boss.

Was the boss hard? Very. Did I feel frustration and shame for having to run back every time? A little. BUT, the more I tried, the better I saw I was and the greater the accomplishment when the boss was beaten only for the next one to stand in my way. I love this game and am happy to live in a world where I saw Silksong release.

This tickles my brain in all the right ways. Roguelike word games were not on my bingo card, but I am here for it. Definitely worth picking up for $10

I am saddled with the interminable grief that I cannot play this again for the first time. It was amazing, and I want to see more games in the setting!

Truly one of the best games I think I'll ever play. You cannot miss this one...
